'Our group of 4 stayed two nights while visiting some distilleries. We immediately loved the property and it's spaciousness. It offered everything we needed for our weekend. The bars on the street below were noisy, but seemed to have a firm curfew that didn't go too late. Overall, we loved it and would definitely book again.'

'Buffalo Trace is our favorite distillery and we usual go and then leave to the next. This VRBO was the perfect location. When you walk in to VRBO, the bourbon style sets the mood for the weekend. The newly renovated VRBO was very clean and you feel comfortable immediately. I was disappointed when I reached out to the host during our stay because we were close to running out of toilet paper and I could not find any. After a couple of hours of not hearing, I ordered and bought my own toilet paper...

'Husband and I went for an extended weekend to the bourbon trail. Had everything we needed. Centrally located to many distilleries, walkable to town for lunch/dinner/drinks. Cleanest and cutest VRBO I have been in. Adorable walk out deck for evening drinks. Look no further this place has it all. Jason and Toni are the best host, very reachable for any needs.'

'My husband and I stayed here during a quick getaway to visit Keeneland, area horse farms and distilleries. Unit was very clean, host was a great communicator and neighborhood was safe/quiet. We walked to downtown Frankfort both nights of our stay which had enough cute shops and restaurants to explore.'

'If you are looking for a place to stay while visiting all the bourbon distilleries, this is it. Only 30 to 40 minutes at the most, both directions. Loft is clean and spacious. Just a heads up, the loft is above a Mexican restaurant, but the food there is great!'

'Overall it was a nice place to stay.. The person in #1 on our last night had a dog that barked until 3 am. I think one of the full time residents talked to the dog owner and he finally left the building at 3 am!'

'We absolutely loved staying in The Carriage! It was the perfect size for the two of us and the location was great; we walked all around the Capitol and it's grounds, historic downtown Frankfort, and to Andy's Artisan Bread each morning for pastries and coffee. The Carriage reminded us of a Parisian apartment and the neighborhood was incredibly quiet. We loved being so close to the various distilleries. Definitely coming back again!'

'Started with stay charging issues. Called VRBO to rectify charges, got an individual whose understanding of the English language was marginal at best. Reached out to property manager who got the billing corrected. Don’t recall anything in description telling us our rental was on the third floor. (We wouldn’t have rented it). With all the separate charges in the contract it ended up costing us more than our 4 star hotel in Savannah without the comps.'

'Great space, the renovations were very well done for an old building. The space was very clean, comfortable and perfect space to relax after a day of touring bourbon distilleries. Convenient to food and places to explore in Frankfort.'

'The house was clean and centrally located for all of our planned activities. There was plenty of space and beds got a group of 9. There were tons of activities to do at the house. The one downside was the loft area was a little hot for sleeping.'

'The code was showing on the wall next to the door which made us feel less than safe. I tried to contact the owner and he never responded. The sofa smelt like someone peed in it. The bedroom close to the kitchen had a mold smell. But the most worrying issue was the shower that was in the bathtub was on a platform with no rail to hold on to in order to get out safely. Otherwise we enjoyed the house.'
