Really nice, modern flat right in the middle of Bakewell. Easy walking to anywhere in town and easy drive to any location in and around the Peak District. Dedicated, gated parking is only a short walk away (you get a key fob to access parking at anytime). You need to pick up and drop off the keys at the Bakewell Pudding shop, which is a little less convenient than a lock-box. The free breakfast vouchers and discounts to area restaurants are a rare bonus for a holiday flat (note: breakfast is in the Bakewell Pudding Shop restaurant above the store and take-away isn't an option). Everything was really clean, there was a smart TV in the living room and TVs in all the bedrooms, and the kitchen was really well stocked for almost any cooking you would wish to do. There is a small (two seat) outdoor table on an enclosed back patio, but the weather didn't cooperate enough for us to use it. A utility room off the kitchen houses a washer/dryer combo, the bin, and a place to store wet clothes or shoes. Upstairs, the underfloor heating in the bathroom was great, but the beds were quite hard for our comfort (we prefer soft mattresses). Overall, the place felt like home and was a nice warm welcome at the end of our cold, rainy days in the peak.
