'We’ve stayed here before and love the proximity to fishing spots. This was the first time it wasn’t really clean, there was visible clumps of dust in just about every room. I didn’t reach out, since we didn’t spend a lot of time inside. But if you have allergies or asthma I’d be mindful of the current condition of the property.'

'Our overall experience was pleasant. However the kitchen needed some attention. The faucet was missing the head so if not careful turning on you could easily get water everywhere. Even though the refrigerator visually looked clean it reeked of fish. Lastly a butcher's block with additional cutting knifes could be useful other than just one that was provided.'

'The place is really nice and clean. It has beautiful views and is very relaxing. There are cows grazing on the mountain right beside the property. It is perfect for two people. The fireplace and A/C worked well. The WiFi does not work. There is a larger house and this place is an apartment/cabin over the detached garage. 'Great little house on the water. Perfect for a couple or small family looking for a weekend getaway close to dillsboro and sylva. The only bad part about the hunt is the driveway location. Your view is blocked both ways so pulling into the road is a little difficult but manageable.'

'The house is as described. It is a historic house that has been refurbished in all the right ways to provide a clean and secure environment and left alone to main its unique charm. The only surprise was the kitchen did not have a microwave so we had to do things a little old school but there was a nice stove so it was fine. 'The only thing that went wrong was we didn’t have the code to get into the house and we waited two hours after original check in. The email from the owners was never received and they were unaware of this which created the problem because the contact person was not returning our calls.'

'This cabin is exactly what we wanted. We wanted quick access to the Parkway and it definitely had that! The cabin was cozy, clean and was even better than the description. After a long day of sightseeing and hiking it was perfect to sit on the deck with a glass of wine and listen to the creek. We are looking forward to another stay in the future!'

'Nice home in a lovely neighborhood. Convenient to Cashiers and many hiking trails in the area. The screened porch was our favorite as most time was spent there. House was well equipped for cooking and found the house to be clean upon arrival. Even though there really isn't much of a view in summer, the porch/deck was my favorite place...sitting in the rockers and eating at the table. We did not get into the hot tub but we all want to stay here again and hope to try it out! The neighborhood was pretty quiet as well but you are super close to everything downtown Maggie Valley!
