Thanks for leaving us your opinion. As you can check-in expedia you can ask to have beds or a bed under availability, doesn't indicate thtat they are two queen beds. Also our location is about 10/15 minutes walk from almost all tourist attractions. This seems like a good and even close point, to avoid the noise and the masses of people in the center of the city.

Estimado Basilio,Lamentamos que no disfrutara de su estancia con nosotros y del mal olor que nos comenta. Si hubiera avisado a nuestra recepción, hubiéramos intentado cambiarle de habitación. Por otro lado comentarle que usted reservó una habitación individual, la más pequeña que tenemos en el hotel. En la web tenemos tanto fotos como una descripción de cada tipo de habitación.Por último comentarle que los precios que tenemos en el hotel se rigen por la estacionalidad, eventos de la ciudad en las fechas elegidas y acorde a la media de la categoría del hotel.Sin más esperamos que pueda volver a alojarse en Praktik Essens para sus futuras visitas a Barcelona, ya que es un hotel, con la categoría e instalaciones que necesita.Gracias y saludos.

Next time, we recommend that you reserve one of our 4 suites, where there is enough space and the sink is included in the bathroom with a different design.Almost all our rooms, have a double mattress so that we can have the option of converting it into a twin beds if our clients request it.Best regards.

Dear Maria,We are sorry for your bad experience with us during your stay.We didn't receive any notice from you during your stay about problems with the AC in your room. Otherwise, we will send to our maintenance person to fix it.You are right when you say that we are not like our other hotel Praktik Rambla, which is a 3 star hotel and we are 2 star hotel, so we offer services according with our category.We apologize for the inconvenience of the fire alarm during the night. It was caused by a smoke detector in a room which we fixed as fast as we could. Unfortunately for us, we cannot control the actions of each guest in the rooms.As you will understand, there is nothing we can do about the fact the volume of taxis that pass through our street, just as you consider our location far being a 15 minute walking distance from Plaza Catalunya.At least we can thank you for considering that our employees provide good service.Thank you for your time and best regards.

Yes, we are a special hotel in the middle of Barcelona built in an traditional old building from the Eixample. We apologice to don't have the option for the heating in the summer and the cold aire in the winter but, our central climate machines, work just in one mode, so we think that for the summer is better to have the cold air activate it.
