'Everything was great. The house, location, porch, lake, chairs at the lake, picnic area, internet, parking, driveway, proximity to Galax, stores, restaurants and cute downtown. Highly recommend.'

'Stayed for only 1 night on our way home from a work conference, so we didn't do anything around the area. Great place to just sit on the deck and take in the views. Perfect quick stop for a little relaxation before starting the work week. The house was clean and had the basics if you wanted to cook, etc.. Wifi worked well. Bed was comfortable. The only recommendation would be to have an iron/ironing board (unless there was one and I just couldn't find it).'

'This was our first stay in a Yurt and we weren't disappointed. We loved the layout, the way we could stargaze in our bed, and relax in the hot tub. I was looking for a private, mountain getaway and this was recommended. My husband and I were celebrating out 10 year Wedding Anniversary and just wanted to get away. 'The description of property is right on. Very quite, large pond and of course 5 deer two geese rabbits (and a partridge in a pear tree LOL). Hot tub was great. Played with dogs in large shade area. Has three brooks that ran into pond. Inside has all you need and then some. Will stay again.'

'Great yurt with all the comforts of home. I stay in a look pf vacation rentals and this one is very well equipped! They have everything you could need from a long nose lighter for camp fires to bug spray. There were even snacks waiting for us, stuff to make s'mores and treats for my pup. These people know how to run a rental and it shows with their attention to detail. We loved the hike down to the creek (hike up is a workout with 200ft of gain over .25 miles) and our dog loved all the wide open...

'We were really impressed with the area, the Yurt, and the location of the property. It was very scenic and quite private, while enjoying the bubbling creek from the attached deck and comfy chairs. Inside, it was nicely appointed and very welcoming for my wife and I on our 21st Anniversary get-away from Coastal Virginia. Not many Yurts will have such nice and upgraded amenities like the pellet stove, luxury tub and shower, the loft bedroom, and of course the outdoor hot tub. Perfect for the two...

'The bus was awesome! Had everything we needed for a short stay. Comfortable bed, a nice fire pit, shower, toilet, and refrigerator. Lacking ample firewood scavenging. Suggest bring your own firewood. Recommend keeping your dogs away from woods as there were an abundance of brier prickers.'

'We had a group of 10 stay here for a Virginia Tech football game. About 40 minutes into Blacksburg on gameday. We all slept comfortably, and the property provided a great backyard, screened-in porch, and fire pit. Plenty of seating on any part of the property. Would recommend to any large group, whether it be for VT or just for the lake.'

'I can't say enough about our stay. They literally though of everything possible that one could need plus some. As soon as you walk in, it just feels like home. Kathie left fresh Pumpkin muffins on the table for us upon arrival. The property in itself is breathtaking. We spent hours on the porch off of the living room. We were lucky enough to get a little storm during our stay so we got to enjoy the storm on the porch and watch as the lightening and fireflies lit up the night. It was a magical...
