Pool wasn’t available for a bit hot tub wasn’t opened. Fridge wasn’t working they had to replace it and blow dryer was only giving cold air. When asked to get a new one was told maintenance isn’t there to call tomorrow. (Why couldn’t they get it from another room and switch it out) by this point my hair was soaking wet

When arriving the front desk gentleman was kind When we got to our room the floor was not clean as it seemed like they just vacuumed high walled areas Skirt of the bed had white stains on it Paint was peeling from the ceiling of the bathroom and the bed was broken we had to sleep with our head at the foot of the bed This use to be one of our favourite hotels

Lots of people smoking around exits. Garbage all over like apple cores and wrappers. No Tylenol at front desk. Staff were not friendly. Pool appears green. Room is good. Appears to have clean sheets and ample towels.

Easy Highway access, conveniently located to family and friends. Hotel needs an upgrade in some areas, our bathroom paint was peeling off the ceiling from a lack of ventilation for shower but the room was clean and quiet.

My room wasn't cleaned the whole time I was there, which was 5 nights. The clerk who checked me in charged me an extra $45 a night, and was not even friendly. The pool was open 2 nights of my stay. The restaurant staff was wonderful, the food was very good and the desk staff at checkout was very perosnable and helpful.

Our stay was great, room clean beds very comfortable. Quiet, visited pool and hot tub nice and clean. It was a Sunday so restaurant was closed unfortunately. Was able to walk to nearby restaurant. Will stay again when in area!

Check in was quick and simple friendly staff ,room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately parking was a bit of a problem when I returned around 11pm maybe due to the snow but had to park the other end of hotel with a long walk to my room,restaurant hours not very good open late close early like 10pm so don’t expect a late night meal or drinks.

Arrived late go to park and there is no parking spots anywhere close to our entrance. Was kept up till 2:30 am with kids running down hall had called front desk around midnight. When booking it said there was breakfast to find out it was not included and $18.95 per person. The bed frame anytime you rolled over or moved it squeaked. Stayed here so we would get a good night sleep and feels like we didn’t even sleep at all Told front desk of our concerns and just received a smile and head nod and said nothing can be done. Very poor experience and do not recommend

Safe and clean hotel. Staff are great. I'd recommend this hotel over a lot of the others, however the toilet is too small and the pillows aren't the greatest. I'd still suggest this hotel over a lot of the others in Barrie.

This is an aging property that is decent enough but the details are lacking. Carpets are folding in the middle stairwells are dirty. And it seemed like there are some rooms where some sketchy people live/stay.

Nice place, they could do better
I was disappointed the hot tub was out of order the entire 3 nights we stayed here, no notice before booking, no one told us at front desk, the computer room has terrible Internet no paper in the printer not even worth using, the hallways don't have any info on how to find the lobby, the room we were in had nasty stained dirty carpet, the sliding door had loose screws and was not safe, the rooms are not sound proof barley for any sleep, the mattress in this room was uncomfortable, we had no Kleenex in our room
