Prima locatie, op loopafstand van station en centrum. Ontbijt was ook keurig. In de badkamer hing alleen een vieze lucht gedurende het hele verblijf.

Keurige kamers, we hadden het geluk aan de ‘binnenkant’ te slapen zodat evt. straatgeluiden tot een minimum beperkt werden. Het ontbijt was ook prima, prettig personeel dat attent is.

Hotel is netjes met vriendelijk personeel. Ligging in centrum Basel vlak bij het trein station is zeer praktisch. Kamer is basic maar schoon, met een goed bed en prima douche. Ontbijt was prima.

Prima hotel!
2 nachten verbleven in dit prima gelegen hotel. Tram 3 en 16 voor de deur, dus zo in het centrum. Prijs ontbijt te duur voor wat geboden wordt, maar niks in Basel is goedkoop. Kamer prima, ruim en schoon

Teleurstellend.
Voor één overnachting kan het prima, maar ik zou persoonlijk niet zo snel weer naar dat hotel gaan. Het personeel wat bij ons aankomst aan het werk was, was zeer onbeleefd. Ook een nadeel, je kunt van te voren geen parkeerplaats reserveren, en ze hebben maar een stuk of 8 parkeerplaatsen. Verder kun je je auto niet echt kwijt in de buurt aangezien het een drukke stad is. 's Nachts steeds wakker door personeel dat de hele tijd herrie had op de gang. Het ontbijtbuffet was daarentegen wel erg goed & 's morgens was er wel vriendelijk personeel.

Nice welcome, very practicle and affordable stay
This hotel is superb if you need a quiet, clean hotel in which everything is functioning well. Don't expect overdone issues that you don't need (butlers opening the door for you), but expect something that is very good value for money and very clean. Especially the very friendly and helpfull people (that seem to enjoy their work really well!) should be mentioned. For tall people, the bed might be a bit short with 1,90m, but that can be overcome.

A Few Days Away
This hotel is really convenient for the main railway station (SBB and SNCF). After a day exploring the city and surrounding area the bar offers a selection of drinks and snacks before ascending to your room. This was most welcome during this particular stay as there was an unexpected mini heatwave!

The property is at a walkable distance from Basel Bahnhof. The staff was very helpful. The property was very clean. They provided local transportation tickets, which was a surprise for us. Overall we loved the stay.

Good location within walking distance of the riverside area. Hotel does have parking but there are two issues to beware of. Firstly there are no directions to the entrance or instructions about how to enter. Also the entrance is very very steep and cars with limited ground clearance will not safely exit without grounding !!!

An enjoyable stay enhaced by a friendly reception
We arrived early hoping to check in our bags. Instead the reception manager arranged an early check in, provided tourist information and a Basel Card which gave us free transport and a 50% reduction at tourist attractions. In all this saved us a great deal and assisted us enjoying the tourist sites. The room was very comfortable and located close to the station. I regret that I did not catch the reception manager name so I coud thank him properly but will describe him as a sports lover.

Clean room. Great shower and bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Tram stop outside taking you right into the old town. Very close to the SBB too. Market food hall close by offering great food. Would have liked tea making facilities but understand you can have that with a premium room. No drama.

Excellent location for a stay in Basel
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the buffet breakfast delicious. The hotel is walkable to the main sites, but with the Basel card issued free to those staying in city hotels, use of the trams and buses is free. Being right next to the station day trips out to other locations, eg lausanne are easily possible, or onward travel by train.
