Excellent location near great dining options and walkable to other options. Easy to get Ubers and rickshaws. LOUD BOOMING music played until 1am. Very hard to sleep through that. When staff did daily cleaning, they did not do dishes or clean trash. Shower was awful. It was a handheld device only, broken and sprayed EVERYWHERE (including ceiling if you were not careful and quick). It was extremely difficult to keep the tub area dry. Not a relaxing, comfortable or enjoyable experience in the least.

This Oakwood is conveniently located in UB City which is a popular spot for dinner and drinks. This was my first time staying in this property, and stayed in a one bedroom guest room for 3 nights. Room was very spacious, but design is a bit run down. Bed was very comfortable and I got a corner room on 9th floor with a great view. I had dinner at the Soul City restaurant one time and experience was very nice with great friendly service especially due to Mr. Keshab who worked both evenings and also during breakfast. From the Lobby floor (4th floor), the mall is directly accessible along with all the restaurants and bars located on the top of the mall. JW Marriott is also in this UB City complex. The only negative point about my stay is the noise. Room to room noise is not so good and the music from the outdoor restaurants/bars is a bit loud, but did not bother me so much. Entrance to the property is also a bit confusing as you have to go all the way around the building to get to the entrance. Staff are very friendly and helpful especially when I was calling a taxi during check-out.

Poor breakfast, great front desk and IT
For starters I was appalled by the poor quality breakfast - Indian and Western. The food was downright unpalatable. You need a new chef and team in charge of Food and Beverages. Great front desk and IT support from Tapas and Nelson respectively. They made sure all support was provided in a timely manner and retained the guest (my family) for the week.

1. The fridge in the room was defective, it make tic-tac sounds the whole night and the house keeping did not respond. 2. The shower water is just luke warm, not hot enough to take shower in Bangalore. I was told it had VIP access and unfortunately there was nothing of that sort or couple dining. Many disappointments, I would not choose this place again. Thanks.

The property is very beautiful location is excellent but it needs a lot of upgrading in terms of staff training and also in terms of upkeep of the place stop at times air-conditioning is not cool fridge had to be replaced water was dripping from the air condition Overall I personally feel they have an excellent location but need they need to refurbish the place and bring it up to the standard in spite of everything we enjoyed the stay but I would think twice before coming back over here Kamesh Khaitan with six of my family members staying here from 13th of August and checkout on 19th of August

great little apartment! i wish we had stayed longer so i could have used the kitchen for snacks or something. i did use the laundry machine and dryer. the hotel even provides detergent! nicely decorated. adequate sized rooms. comfortable seating and bed. location is very good - near many restaurants.

The property is listed as a 5 stars hotel. It may have been 15 years ago and its glory days a well past. As it stands, i would give it a 3 stars. The JW Marriott is next door,. Book that one instead and you won't be disappointed.

Short and sweet stay
It's a nice upscale place and is in the same compound of UB City Mall, so there are some very nice places to eat. The room was quite spacious with very good views of the city.

WIFI connection service is not included. Guest has to pay extra cost for WIFI connection. The cost is very expensive. My deposit fee is not properly cancelled at the time I check out from the hotel. I write an email to the hotel to request them to ensure the deposit fee MUST BE cancelled. No response from the hotel.
