'My husband and I really enjoyed our time at the relax house. It was the first place we stayed in after arriving in Costa Rica, and with the quaint little neighborhood and locked gates to the neighborhood and the house, we felt completely safe and comfortable. It is such a cute place and looks exactly as pictured and described in the listing. It did end up being just a little bit farther from town then I thought it was going to be, but we ended up liking the location even better than staying...

'Very good communication with the host Arnaldo. Easy check in with codes: no keys. The house was very clean. With four bedrooms the house was quite big but very comfortable for our family. The kitchen and furniture are a bit basic, but all new- seems to be recently built or renovated. For shops and restaurants it is a 15 minute drive through the hilly countryside, which was very green and lush when we were there in the rainy season.'

'Stayed here with a group of 8 adults. Great location that was a quick drive to town and a short trip to most popular locations in the area. Gated property that felt safe the entire time we were there.'

'Our room overlooked the river. We had fireflys at night, chamelions in the day and real peace and quiet. There is everythng you could need pools fed by the river, trails through the grounds, kitchens barbeques all in good condition. Easy to get to on a good road and close enough to town. '

'We wished we had stayed longer. This is a wonderful property, well maintained and the owners are close by. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers a full view of the volcano covered deck area and a small pool to cool off in. Beds are comfortable and the house offers everything you could need. La Fortuna is a hidden gem. I have been to CR over 40 times and never made it here. Great restaurants and activities and a wonderful place to relax when the day is over. Highly recomended.'

'We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad, echter een paar punten van verbetering zou het verblijf nog aangenamer maken: - keuken is echt veel te klein voor een huis van 10 personen tevens is de keukenuitrusting matig -achterste kamer gesitueerd grenzende aan het zwembad werkt de Airco niet goed. het blijft warm aldaar. -lamp zwembad kun je niet uitdoen, erg fel licht, ook snachts hinderlijk voor de achterste slaapkamers -regelmatig kwamen er mensen langs waardoor de privacy in het geding kwam -het huis...

'We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things.'

'Amazing. The cabana is beautiful! It’s brand new and very comfortable. It has three walk out decks, and a one whole side of the cabana is huge windows that open to make the space open air. The views form the cancan are insane! We booked last minute, and I am sure it will be our favorite all the three paces we stay. The host was amazing! He even took us hiking up the river. 'First time using VRBO and everything went well. I kept in touch with owners so they would know our estimated arrival time. The house is exactly as described 2 beds and 1 bath up with kitchen living and laundry down. Only the shower has hot water which is unusual but was fine. There is a code for the lock and code for the alarm system which only needs to be set when you are out.
