'We stayed two nights during the 2024 New Years Arrived around noon and was checked in right away. The price was reasonable for the holiday season. Location is near the train station, the river and walking distance to attractions. Considering it is an older hotel it shows some wear but the price compensates for it. Breakfast and Dinner Buffet was good and convenient. We used the pool and almost had it to ourselves.It's plenty big to lap swim. Plenty of free bottled water also they brought...

'Everything is good except the WIFI strength is horrible. Even have difficulty obtain the necessary connection to access email. Luckily I am on golfing trip to Tianjin. If you are on business trip and require wifi access to conduct business, then you better think twice to check in to this hotel. I have to consume almost close to US40 of my own data plan to communicate although I am on leisure trip to Tianjin. '

'Expedia gave incorrect geographical coordinates and I ended up stranded in a inhospitable neighborhood. The hotel reacted quickly. They sent a taxi to pick me up; apologized; upgraded my room from basic to presidential; and offered a fantastic meal at no cost. My initial outrage changed into appreciation. My gratitude goes to the hotel staff. Thank you.'

'What a peaceful place, you are really treated like royalty! Was a bit difficult getting hold of the hotel to make a booking. I couldn't do it on their website & didn't get responses from their email but the hotel confirmed everything through Expedia which was great. The buffets are amazing!! Really awesome place. '

'My booking was lost, but hotel solved it by giving a room till they solved the problem. It took over an hour to check in. Restaurant is great, staff did their best. Beijing duck and pleasant wines for an ok budget. House atmo was very pleasant, corridor in cellar to room had unpleasant smell. Pools had not opened. Kids club was still closed, this I found out locally. No mentioning by booking. This is one of the first hotels on walking distance I found to visit the wall. I give it a second...
