'Hotel rooms/lodges are spread in a big garden. It is good quality but to expensive. Problem is you don't have much choice if you want quality in Thekkady. Food is good. Staff in reastaurant a bit unfriendly. (cooks are good and friendly) You have a nice swimmingpool and a bar with big Pool table. Most amazing thing was in January just after sunrise thousand of FOX bats (1 meter big) are flying low over the trees. Sit at swiming pool have a beer and watch the sky. 'This hotel being a 5 star is a joke. The rooms are very old and the bathroom had a very bad smell to it. The room was not maintained well and was dirty. I have stayed at numerous 3,4, and 5 star hotels all over the world. This was by far the worst hotel and experience. The hot water did not work properly for showers and the lights went out at least once an hour. The restaurant’s food was very oily and they did not serve proper lunch after 1:30pm so for check in we had very few options. We had to...

'Thekkady is a great place to visit due to the Periyar Wildlife Park and abundant spice plantations. The hotel staff were very happy to organise transport and activities. The hotel itself is in a nice location up in the forest but is perhaps a bit tired. '

'Great option to stay in a treehouse! Philip the owner was proactive in obtaining our driver’s number to send him details of how to get there and was welcoming and helpful when we arrived. He also helped us to choose the best options for our one full day. Breakfast was great, would highly recommend!'

'A good property close to main road through Thekkady but removed enough to be lovely and quiet. Beautiful grounds, pool was clean there was some play equipment. The restaurant served a good buffet for dinner and breakfast, with both Indian and western dishes. We chose to eat the Indian food it was served hot and was very tasty. '

'Location was super. The hotel looks good in appearance. The room was big, clean but not noise proof. The maintenance was bad expecially of rest room, was slippery and wet. The bed spread had stains in it. The restaurant food was great. They cooked meals on order. Breakfast had a variety of spread. '

'Food was great . Safe and security was excellent. Every staff members had a great respect on us . They were all did a great job Bed and bedding didn’t meet our expectations. We stayed there for nine days and will stay there again on our next vaccinations. '
