'If, like us, you are taking your first trip to Chile to ski the Tres Valles, Casa Farellones is an excellent choice for a home base. It is a 10-minute or less drive to each of La Parva and El Colorado, and a 25-minute drive to Valle Nevado (note these times without ski traffic; expect longer if you are headed to the resorts for first lift). 'William was extremely responsive and helpful. The property was in a gorgeous location and very peaceful. The skiing in Farellones was not ideal and we travelled up the mountain to Valle Nevaro most days but this was an easy drive and staying in Farellones was preferable because of the warmer weather and gorgeous sunsets. The middle apartment was better suited to us and the hot tub was more accessible and private and the fireplace was by the living room but I’m sure the lower apartment would have...

'Lugar maravilhoso. Tudo perfeito. Os funcionários são muito simpáticos e solícitos. Café da manhã e jantar são feitos com muito carinho. Os queijos e vinhos no fim da tarde ao por do sol são muito especiais. O ofurô é uma graça, assim como a lareira do lado de fora, onde é possível fazer marshmallows quentes. Amamos tudo. 'It is a new hotel, with a friendly staff on a good location. We walked to the plaza de armas where found a nice restaurant. Rooms were good but a bit noisy as early in the morning you could hear people leaving their rooms. Breakfast was a bit simple with a lack of fresh fruit. we enjoyed the pool.'

'Fantastic cabin just far enough away from the city to still easily drive back and sightsee. Fall asleep listening to the river rushing by outside. The sitting area on the river bank was a great place to relax with wine & a cigar after a hectic day in the city. The host was quick to respond to inquiries and the cabin was very cozy.'
