'We were absolutely delighted with the cleanliness and modern decor of the apartment, and it’s location in central Lerwick was perfect. We could park for free on the street outside the apartment and the shops and restaurants were a five-minute walk. The apartment had all the facilities we needed, including a washer-dryer so we could wash clothes during the week. 'There is only one word for this - WOW!!!!! I have never in all my years as a self-catering traveller seen so much care being taken to ensure that all one's needs are met. We stayed in "Spiggie" and everything was perfect. The location was in the centre of everything, while being quiet as well. 'The week we spent at Voortrekkers Lodge, Levenwick, was an absolutely marvellous experience. The spectacular view from the lodge, the hospitality and friendliness of the hosts and the cosy, clean accomodation all contributed to a wonderful holiday away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. 'We spent two nights here and loved it. The friendliness of the staff combined with the professionalism of the chef made it a start to remember. Dog owners: although dogs are not welcome in the general areas, the hotel grounds are great and lead straight to the shingle beach. Plenty for the muppet to sniff and lots of rabbits to chase.'

'A quiet, clean hotel on the waterfront in Scalloway. The staff were pleasant and attentive, and answered our questions about the area. The hotel has a good restaurant on prem, with a good, varied menu. There is a convenience store a few steps away that carries various food and drink, as well. No downsides to staying here.
