'Its a very clean little home with farmhouse charm! We are from Indiana which is also a big farming community! We felt right at home! It was stocked with all the essentials! Great place to stay! Highly recommend it!'

'We loved this house - plenty of room to spread out. Very well equipped. Beds were super comfortable. Very nicely decorated. Only things you should look into.... 1. Back lock would not work (going to patio...) 2. If you took a bath in jacuzzi tub the water got cold after it just barely went above the jets. We would definitely stay again.'

'This home has a wonderful enclosed front porch overlooking the Mississippi. We watched an eagle catch a fish right in front of us, and enjoyed the barge traffic going by. We also had spectacular sunrises while there. This home has PLENTY of room for a group. The only downside - the freight trains going through feet from the back of the home in the middle of the night blowing their horn. This woke us up at least 3 times a night.'

'There was nothing that I can think of that we needed while there except maybe a spider detector. This place couldn’t have been more conducive to our needs. The nearby park was beautiful to walk to. There are plenty of churches to choose from. We felt very relaxed and at home. The only thing that creeped me out was the big spider in my bed and one in the shower the next morning. Both of which were obliterated. Thanks!'

'We stayed at the property so we could visit family for Christmas. It was our first time renting a VRBO and we absolutely loved it. The home was very welcoming, clean and homey. We have 4 children and the space was perfect for them. They loved the bags set on the indoor porch and darts in the indoor bar area. Owners provided everything we needed during our stay. We are already looking forward to staying here again in the summer to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area!'

What I got was nesting eagles in the tree out my window, a nightly roaring fire with ample wood supply, super responsive host, welcome wine and snacks, comfortable beds and high end baths, white linens and privacy. If you don’t mind steps to enter the home, and some personal touches throughout (books, candles, travel trinkets, mugs, condiments, kid fun) you will enjoy your stay very much! Want a pristine hotel, choose a hotel. Want eagles, geese and pelicans + a private stay...

'Well represented online the house was just what we expected and was perfect for our trip. Areas for us all to gather, but yet could all have plenty of different areas to sleep. Loved the location with many attractions to take in with just a short drive. People in the town were friendly and gave us great advice for places to get awesome meals and local attractions to see!'

'Beautifully decorated. Great bed and linens. Lots of space. Kitchen had all we needed and more. My only note is that if stairs are an issue for your party, stairs to get in and bathrooms are in the lower and upper levels. Beautiful and large bathrooms however.'

'This house was perfect for our family and the location is ideal for walking to the shops, restaurants, coffee houses, brewery, distillery and winery along Cody Road. The property was better than described and the set up worked well for our group. The main bedroom with its own bath on the first level was perfect for my wife and I. 'We were in town with family and had a wonderful stay. Being right on the river watching the eagles was worth double the price. All details were thought of and executed nicely. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the house was super clean. Jason was the best host we have had, very accommodating and communicative. 'This is such a neat historic home with lots of room for the 8 of us to spread out and also be together around the table playing games. The weather didn't quite cooperate the night we were planning to have a fire, but there is a fire ring with plenty of wood available and lots of outdoor seating. The backyard is large and fenced, and we were glad to see the cornhole game (even though I am possibly the worst player ever). Communication was great! I still cannot believe how big the bedrooms are,...

'The home was in a good location and quiet neighborhood. It was close to the main thoroughfare running through Rock Island, Moline and East Moline. Good parking for several cars, nice seating areas outside, two ample sized bedrooms, adequate bathroom, nice kitchen with extras left in the refrigerator.'
