'Our stay at this property was nothing short of AMAZING! The communication with the owner was top notch, check in was easy and somehow the interior was more stunning than the outside! Perfect for picture opportunities. The proximity to king street is amazing if you can manage to tear yourself away from this beautiful property. The kitchen and bathroom are incredibly clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and couches were perfect to watch tv or read on. The decor was the cherry on top!'

'Our family loved staying at this cottage in Blowing Rock. Clean, nicely decorated, with a great space to spread out or gather together. The hot tub was wonderful, clean and easy to use. 'There was hair in the shower and sink. The shower liners looked dirty and much to long and hanging in the dirty water. Trash was left in the downstairs. There was no toilet paper, trash can liners, or soap for the shower. Multiple obvious mouse traps left the feeling there was a mouse problem that we may encounter- which we did not. '

'My wife, our adult son, and our cocker spaniel stayed here over a weekend. We had an event in Blowing Rock on Saturday and it was super convenient to get in town or to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed. The Food Lion was minutes away, but we felt like we were in the mountains. 'Cozy little cabin. Just right for our family of 4 to stay while visiting App State and tour the area for a long weekend. Only complaint was having an inspector wake us up the morning of checkout due to a communication issue from someone he was told the property wouod be vacant.'

Property was clean, stocked with the necessities, and the location was perfect: About 20-30min from downtown Boone, Blowing Rock, and plenty of hikes/overlooks on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The host was kind and communicative, and being right on the New River was amazing--each day, I was able to watch beavers, otters, deer, etc. all from the deck.
