Thank you for your comments. We are typically rated very highly and are disappointed to hear that your experience was out of the norm. Perhaps, as you stated, the rates in Vermont are higher than you expected, but we are most certainly offering extremely competitive rates for the price point. The windows were recently painted , so perhaps they were a little stickly, but the side panels do indeed open-we will razor the paint edge around the window sills in the guest room you were in to be sure they open with ease. We have a brand new hot water heater and guests rave about our plentiful hot water, so we are not sure why you felt there was not enough for a bath. We were sold out on a busy May weekend, which may be why the wifi lagged. We are glad to hear that the front desk was warm and kind, we are here to help, had you mentioned ANY of these issues to desk personnel, we would have found a way to make things right! In regards to our hours-they are what they are, 7:30am open daily and they are listed promininently on the booking sites and posted on property. We are a small, independant, family run property and work all day, every day to insure our guests have a hand on experience. Frankly, if our open time was an issue to you for grab and go breakfast items, perhaps we were just not what you were looking for. There are several large chains that are open all night, and have offerings as early as 6 am, they may not however, be at our price point.

We are,rather, a well appointed mid-economy motel and for the money we do our very best to offer our guests a competitive rate with amenities like HBO,free wifi, upgraded hypoallergenic bedding and a variety of pillows for a variety of tastes! Our apologies that the shower head in your guestroom was installed incorrectly-we will rectify that as soon as possible. We are a strictly enforced non smoking property and require smokers to refrain from smoking more than 25ft from the building. Housekeeping staff has laundered everything in that guestroom including the curtains in light of your comments. Thank you for letting us know about the cobb web the bathroom, it has been addressed. We hope you will try us again and see how we have improved!

Since you have not detailed anything in specific-we are not sure what was a miss. The guest room you were in was outfitted with new furniture, carpet, plank tile bathroom flooring, new vanity and a larger 47" led tv. We are happy to hear you found the staff pleasant. We appreciate your business, and apologize if we just were not what you were looking for.

We are a non smoking property and do our very best to enforce no smoking in our hallways and near guest room doors; however since we are exterior corridor and open to the outside, on occasion guests will thinks its ok to smoke outside their guest room not realizing that the odor travels. Our apologies, but had you alerted the front desk, we would have been happy to ask any offenders to smoke far away from the sidewalk. We are happy to report that our hallways have been vacuumed thoroughly and cobb webbs outside removed! We are, as many businesses in the State and country, short staffed, so we are doing the very best we can. On a sold out busy weekend it is difficult to get to the outside hallway in addition to guest rooms, etc. We have implemented a new hallway cleaning plan to be certain that your experience is better next time.
