Nice resort in great area of Cape Cod
Our room turned out to be a condo in a townhouse accross the street. The condo could use a good firm cleaning and some upgrades. There is a free shuttle bus that runs during the day to bring you to all edges off the resort.

Comfortable & complete accomodation to see CapeCod
The 1 room appartment was very clean and well-equipped and allowed us to have breakfast & lunch in the room. The on-site sports facilities like the indoor and outdoor pool, kayak and bike rental & fitness center allowed us to adjust our program to the changing weather conditions. The nearby beaches (Crosby beach in Brewster, reachable by shuttle or bike and Skaket beach in Orleans, reachable by bike or car) are beautiful and great for day visits or sunsets. Brewster is perfectly located to visit other parts of Cape Cod it's 25 mts to Chatham and 45 mts to Provincetown. We were staying in Britterige village which is where you can rent bikes & kayaks. We used the car to go to the swimming pools & fitness centers. The staff was very friendly.

Wasn’t going to pay extra to eat somewhere we didn’t feel like we belonged. We felt like second class citizens. I didn’t know it was a resort for rich people. I just booked it because it had laundry in unit. I wasn’t told about an amenities; I was just handed a coupon card with no explanation. The checkin address wasn’t correct on the Expedia app. I called and the person said “ just come to the Mansion.” Like I’m supposed to know where that it. Seriously won’t ever stay there again. I don’t like being treated like a second class citizen. The property kept sending me emails about canceling right after I booked and I wonder if that’s because I only had the one night booked. The only thing I’m grateful for is the comfortable bed and that I could get 2 weeks worth of laundry done.

We had a great time at Ocean Edge staying in the Village condos. The golf course was great and the food at the Linx tavern was phenomenal. Ray was an attentive bartender!

Property was updated since we last stayed in the villas. Very nice room and living area with kitchen. The indoor pool said it was 86° but felt much cooler

I had a great overall experience staying at The Villages at Ocean Edge! The check in process was easy and the staff was able to accommodate my check-in early request. I would book another stay in the future and I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Stayed in the Fall so the 'reception' area was closed for the season and check in was at the main Mansion - about 0.4 miles from where we were originally instructed (no biggie!) Check in was smooth and quick - Staff was VERY friendly! From the main road to our room it's about a 5 min drive on the property (beautiful drive). Our room was spacious (unexpectedly so). Living room with a pull out sofa. A desk & chair (chair was slanted due to the front legs being about a half inch shorter than the back ones so it was a little strange to sit at the desk). Washing machine (very small, not meant for full loads) in-unit was a plus! The full kitchen was useful and minimally equipped. The bathroom mirror had a fairly thick layer of dust at the top along with on the light fixture. You could tell it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The bedroom closet door was broken (didn't close) so it was weird sleeping with it fully open with the hot water heater tank and drain on the floor of the closet exposed. The rug throughout the apartment was definitely vacuumed but stained and looked like it was due for a good shampooing. Very convenient to Eastham and Harwich where I had to work and also to restaurants in other towns as well. Would stay again...maybe we just got a bad room. The property itself has A LOT to offer. The indoor pool at Fletcher is heated and also has an indoor hot tub that is the perfect temp. Locker/changing rooms very clean - with a sauna as well!

An added fee when you check out?
The resort was great. The view was awesome. The room was clean and in great condition. However what the resort doesn't tell you is that they add an additional fee on at the end when you check out. This was a disappointment as it was not communicated in the initial cost.

Soiled linens outside our door 2 days, next to a pile of dirt. Despite turning thermostat to "off" room was very warm during day/night. We had to keep sliders open; the living room slider screen had no lock. MBR TV did not work. We will not return to this facility.

This place offers 5 restaurants, a wonderful golf course and the rooms are like condos. Very clean and the staff is wonderful. Private beach as well.

very disappointed with the pool, and the whirlpool. Whirlpool was low dirty and your staff did not seem to know the amenities that were available to us. For example, there was a sauna in the pool house, but they told us no they should become more informed. Plus the spa that you’re associated with, I would not call that a Spa no sauna no whirlpool or steam room just services for $180 per massage. Outrageous would not go back.

Helpful clerk upgraded us to stay at the mansion rather than the village. The mansion, normally much more expensive, has beautiful grounds, many amenities, and access to the beach.
