I unfortunately neglected to notify the Nautilus that I would be arriving late. I noticed that their check-in time was from 3 to 6:30, which seemed very limited. I was afraid that they might give my room away, but I did not expect when I arrived at 10 pm that the property would be completely dark, the office locked and no one answering the phone. I obviously had to stay elsewhere, which I did--for half--the cost in a similar but better-maintained place. The Nautilus looked nothing like the picture and was nowhere near the water in spite of a misleading picture. For me it didn't matter, because I was only there to sleep, but for someone who was expecting an island getaway it would have been a rude shock. I acknowledge that I should have let them know that I was arriving late, but not to be able to get in touch with anyone is in my opinion unacceptable. I would like a refund. Can Expedia help me with this?
