A perfect location -like home!
The property was beautiful. Outside and inside everything was groomed and well kept. The directions for using the property were all very clear. I called the property manager at the end of our day to check in about something and they were very helpful and kind we will definitely come back.

Very Relaxing
Girls trip! We had a wonderful time. The weather was absolutely perfect, clear skies and temps in the 70s. We stayed three nights. We enjoyed watching the seals, It’s a wonderful place to get away to relax and rest. The home is well stocked and very comfortable. Beautiful views and access to beach. Great girls trip getaway.
Spent four days with friends. Beautiful view and location, easy access to beach, and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked and the living room cozy with views. We were there during cool weather so the pellet stove was a nice feature. It was very relaxing and we hope to come back again! We enjoyed the food at Hungry Clam and Catalyst and took home some fresh seafood from Pacific Harvesters. Thank you!

The views were incredible, and the beds were quite comfortable. Plenty of towels and blankets were supplied. The kitchen is well-stocked with glasses, cookware, and utensils. The only "complaint" is that there wasn't a garage door opener, so every time we left, someone had to manually close and leave through the mandoor, but it wasn't a big deal. A few minor issues with one of the main bathrooms (the shower light wouldn't turn off and the toilet kept running (easy fix) and a few lightbulbs over the table were burnt out - again, not a big deal. The weather was unseasonably warm, so we enjoyed the private, rocky beach every day. In fact, the weather was so lovely that we spent much less time at the house than we intended—it's the perfect location for sightseeing north and south. Highly recommend! We'd stay here if we travel back to the area.

Thank you for booking with us and taking time to leave feedback on your stay. The cleaner located the garage door clicker inside the basket above the coat hanger in the garage. The cleaner noted a few bulbs out and have had them since replaced. As for the bathroom shower light in the hallway, this light does not shut off, it is a dim light for entering in the evening. There are main vanity lights and overhead lights for the bathroom, that are operable with off and on switches. We do appreciate you comment- we have added a note to this bathrooms details on the lisiting for future guests to note upon booking. We are also pleased to hear you got to enjoy what we call the Chetco Effect here. The coast is truly lovely all year around, especially in the late Spring, Summer and early Fall. We hope to have you back in the near future. Again, thank you for the review!

The Stormy Stay
The property has an amazing view, just sitting in bed and watching the ocean was great. We had some turbulent weather wind, hail, and lots of rain. The house was perfect for it! We just snuggled up, took long baths and enjoyed the atmosphere.

mid winter beach getaway
We had a great stay--really couldn't beat the views from the living room and the wrap around porch. And having our own beach access was really great! We expected a winter storm on the ocean, but instead we got a beautiful sunny day--pretty spectacular. We used the well appointed kitchen to cook a couple meals, and really enjoyed the lay out of the house in that everyone got to have their own space. We would definitely return.

A perfect stay. We were looking for an Oceanside storm season experience in a comfortable, clean setting, and that exactly what this property offers. We particularly like the fact that you can enjoy views and sounds of ocean from most living areas and main bedroom.

Incredible View
We have stayed here before and Sexton Shores never disappoints! Rain or shine, the view is amazing. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen is supplied with just about everything needed to prepare meals. We love this place and are looking forward to coming back!

Exceptional house and beach location
We were three related, retired couples. The house was spacious, functional, comfortable, with views everywhere to the sea, sand and trees outside. We enjoyed walking on the beach. We slept to the sound of the surf. The house was thoroughly clean and well stocked.

Perfect place
Lovely location, nice/well designed spacious house, very clean. No traffic! I will return. Only suggestion would be to replace the pans, which have worn out, and upgrade the dishes to china (very inexpensive at second hand stores).

Sexton Shores is a Joy!
My husband, our three daughters, and myself had a lovely stay at Sexton Shores. The home is comfortable, though not as spotless as in our previous visits, such as numerous cobwebs, dust, etc., and electrical receptacles need to be replaced due to overuse. We will stay here again and hope these suggestions will be followed.

Perfect Southern OR Coast
This is in an excellent location to kick back, explore and enjoy the southern OR coast. The deck/home has a stunning view of the coast. The photos represent the home very well. We had our morning coffee, explored the coast line (so many places to check out near by)and spent the late afternoon and evenings on the deck. The home is perched above what is essentially a private beach, with easy access (like half a block way). The home is very clean and has everything you need, including the basics such a plenty of foil, plastic wrap, wax paper, kitchen towels, dishware and paper towels, which we appreciated. We cooked all of our meals during our stay. We will stay again, it is beautiful, pet friendly and very well maintained!

Best house with a fantastic view!
This is our second year staying here, and once again it did not disappoint! The layout of the house allows for family time in the open kitchen and dining area with the open family room with amazing large windows overlooking the ocean! In addition the bedrooms are set apart that allows for alone/private time for those who desire it. The kitchen is stocked to cook/bake just about anything. Love this property and we will be back next year.

The house was very clean the kitchen was well stocked lots of pots and pans, lots spices in the spice cabinet. We like to cook and this kitchen was perfect. The view from the living room and deck was great! Beach access is just next door and the beach is beautiful. By far the nicest property we have rented thru VRBO. The view of the ocean from the living room, from the dining room, from the kitchen, from the master suite was incredible and if you open the doors, you hear that roar and peaceful calm. Loved it. Will be back.

We spent the most peaceful 40th wedding anniversary. It was a much needed trip for the two of us. The house was very welcoming and well stocked.
