'Heron’s Rest was the most lovely getaway and we cannot recommend it enough. The cottage has everything you need and some very unique pieces. The sound of the river lulls you to sleep and the fire pit chairs is such a relaxing space. The whole property is so beautiful. Sherry was communicative throughout and made the experience so smooth. 'The scenery is excellent. You get to live beside the ocean, hearing the waves as you sleep in the night breeze. Very close to Summerville beach (5min). It is less known than Carter beach, but it has the same amazing view too. Cabin is clean and we'll equipped. I wish I could stay here forever!'

'Such a beautiful self-contained home. Everything I needed. Would feel very comfortable here with a mate I felt comfortable sharing an intimate space with - especially in seasons where the outdoors (and dome) were a warm-enough hang-out. I very much respect how the Maritimes ask us to organize their waste - food, recyclables, trash - but would have appreciated a bit more guidance and color-coding for those of us who come from away.'

It lacked a number of things that make life comfortable such as curtains (we were up with the sun), a place to unpack or even put a suitcase other than the floor, end tables and reading lamps, microwave etc. To be fair there was no microwave listed so it's on me that I didn't notice.
