Convenient hotel with nice comfortable rooms with fine beds. Breakfast is extensive, fresh orange juice. Many menu choices for dinner in the restaurant. Parking is free.

Recommended for business travellers.
This large hotel offers many parking availability which is very convenient in Bucharest. Rooms were large and comfortable. The reception staff was very friendly. Good WIFI. Breakfast is very rich and offers fresh dishes. They have two restaurants: Italian and Lebanese. I tried the Lebanese one and this was good. I did not try the wellness facilities. I recommend this hotel for business travellers.

Full service property close to the airport. I have only two observations worth noting 1. The restaurant - We were there on a thursday night and ordered a few items. We were informed that said items were not available that night. This was soup, a burger, and a pizza. These are perhaps the easiest things a restaurant provides. Not sure why, but it seemed rather odd, especially for such a large property. 2. There is a club inside of the hotel that they seem to treat mysteriously. I forget the exact name but it's something like Club Misti. What it was was a small room, a small bar, a few couches, a pool table, and a stage with a stripper pole. There were also three working women there . I do not know to what exactly there services were, but it is a rather seedy thing that perhaps should not be a part of an otherwise respectable looking hotel. Maybe this is how things are done in Romania, and it's a common thing in nice hotels, but i didnt see anything like this anywhere else while I toured to country.

Not what it used to be
+ nice room furniture and colors - bathroom needs an upgrade, sink has age spots, shower missing pieces. Phoenicia had the greatest breakfast but now it was simple. Will give it a second thought next time if I will book at Phoenicia again.

It was a very short stay, a night stop over in Bucarest between 2 flights. So I was looking for a good hotel near the airport, with restaurant, bar and confortable. It checked all options! And on top, the breakfast was amazing, had everything you can imagine, even fresh baked pizza at 7am :) Unfortunately I didn't have much time to enjoy it. For a tourist visit to Bucarest is a bit far from the city centre and not ideal though.

Breakfast was amazing: huge choice, tasty, ... Rooms were okay, big, ... To improve: carpets on the corridors were stained. The worst thing was the gym: unbelievable.... small, old, smelly, .... pretty bad.
