I enjoy my stays at the Extended Stay Budd Lake NJ. It's a comfortable place, clean and professional hard working team. The location is perfect for going shopping our getting takeout. The bed had someone else’s hair in it, the bathroom ceiling was covered in mold, it was filthy. There were hairs, including pubic hairs, on the bathroom walls. Curtains didn’t work. The microwave didn’t work. There was no safe for valuables. The deadbolt was busted and barely hanging on. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything. The grass outside had tons of dog poop. The outside doors were broken (if you exited a side door and wanted to re-enter, you had to come around to the front). Service was nonexistent. We slept fully clothed to minimize contact with the bedding. Bed wasn’t comfortable. I’m actually not a picky hotel person and I was amazed at how dirty this place was. I seriously considered if they washed towels or just refolded them between bookings. It really took gross to a whole new level. We left early.

The experience was terrible for me. We booked the hotel online and when we reached there, the man on the front desk was not at all trained. He was not knowing what was he doing. We told him that we booked the hotel online and he said the room I booked was not available which is ok. We told him to give us any room which is available as it was too late and we were really tired. He asked us for our ID and he didn't even know where to find address on the ID. Most terrible part was even though I already paid only for the room online, he again charged us $100 saying that you can ask refund from Expedia which was extra work for me. He took almost an hour for giving us a room. Other than that there was no hot water in the washroom. It was the worst experience for me.

I do not recommend it, the receptionist was rude, and only spoke reluctantly, she says that it includes breakfast and there is only coffee and some hard cookies, the beds had blood stains, the bathroom is dirty, I stayed for 4 days and they never came to clean it, no clean towels if you read my comment I do not recommend this place a lot of noise and very dirty the garbage cans stink
