what we didn't like was when we got out of the shower and walked to the bed our feet were black. the tv did not work. we tried to turn it on 4 times, would not turn on. Then during the middle of the night, the tv came on 4 different times. No washcloths or hand towels.

This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever been in. The first room we were in was rank with urine smell, everything was stained, including the lamp shades, it was just so bad. The second room we were in was just barely better, but it was better and where we spent the stay. The rooms are covered in stains, mold, dust and dirt; they smell like smoke and piss. Most of the other people we saw were actually residents and seemed to be down on their luck, using drugs, or just loud. The mattresses were stained and didnt have sheets that fit properly, and they didn’t gove new sheets at turnover, they just remade the bed. This is somewhere that should not be in business and I am in shock that it is. I would not recommend it to anyone, ever!

Booked Downstairs room for a Disabled Person. Even called to confirm the room was downstairs. Got there and they didnt have a room downstairs. There is no elevator. Room had Blood running down the wall by bed. No plate in Microwave. No Shelves in Fridge and it didnt work. They were filthy. Tub was Dirty and had Hair in it. Faucets are Rusty. They refused to reinburse us.

Its smell so bad the pillows stink so did the blankets drawers were missing from the dressers it was dirty. Following day asked the housekeeper for change in everything.

This is my second stay here with me and my kids in room 305 every time we have came the gentlemen at the front desk has always been extremely nice and helpful and would recommend the colony inn to whoever is in need of a hotel and is in the area. Great prices especially for two rooms inside of on room can’t beat. And also very kind to my kids as well and will continue to choose the colony inn as my first and only choice whenever I’m in buena park

However the motel was not the best. It rated 4.5 but that would be out of 15 in my opinion. The room smelled, they had no handicap rooms, the floor had a big spot on the middle made of glue but the rest of the floor was good. The walls had stuff all over them, the toilet seat fell off when I lifted the seat. The front desk tried to tell me he needed 100.00 cash for other charges. There were two towels for 5 people. The beds were hard and the 4 pillows were almost non existence.

This property is run down, discussing, dirty, had open power lines and torn down smoke detectors etc. It appeared to be a pay-by-the-hour hotel. Patrons hanging out smoking weed on the staircases. They claim air conditioned family suites but there is only one AC and the separate bedroom had a shaking ceiling fan. Just bad, like something off a scary movie.

We chose this hotel because it is convenient to Knott's Berry Farm, just across the street. Overall, our stay could have been better, but it was still a nice, clean room. The exhaust fan over the toilet didn't work at all, and the room heater generated only slightly warm air despite being set to max (90 degrees). We had the "Honeymoon" room with a Jacuzzi (room 207), and it worked well, which tells me that they have a handle on the plumbing, but they need help with their electrical system. They need a building engineer, or at least an electrical contractor. During checkout, the folks in 126 complained of roaches, but they didn't notify the front desk upon sighting. They waited till checkout, which would make me suspicious if I were a hotel owner. We saw no pests whatsoever, but we were in a different part of the facility, different floor, different wing. We'll probably be back next year.

They don't do any upkeep. After traveling for a week we had a lot of dirty laundry but their laundry room was out of order. Didn't clean room, asked for towels 2nd day and had to go ask again 4 hours later. Very noisy, could hear people walking upstairs and lots of kids running up and down the upper walkway. They required a $100 dollar CASH deposit upon check in. No mention of that on their listing on Expedia.

We were excited about our up coming trip. Next time we will book something nicer. This hotel is very dirty! Beds floor, bathrooms, everything is dirty. We asked front desk to send room service to clean while we were gone and they did not clean. Also there is a $100 dollar CASH deposit you need to leave. We were not aware of this and it was very inconvenient. In general if you have kids do not book here it is way too dirty. You also have to fight for parking lot as it is very limited.

The parking availability was nice but the overall condition of the room was poor. There were red stains on the bathroom floor and the light was very dim. The walls are very thin and the deadbolt did not feel secure.

Worse hotel experience ever, walked into the room, the bath tub was very dirty where we had to clean it ourselves , and a bug came out of it. Toilet had red residue on it, shower hardly work. Most of the power outlets didn’t work and bed wasn’t comfortable. Never been so disappointed with a hotel stay til now

They require a $100 cash deposit that i was not told about. They have no breakfast anything at all. The rooms have a roku tv which is great if you have any streaming accounts to use on it. 2 unheated pools and no hot tub seems a little strange to me. And the guy at the front counter had a bad attitude.

No maid service ,hotel allows or does not patrol the growns where one person rents a room and all day other people use it and I counted 11 people they are short in staff we didn’t get maid service we were going to stay 4 days we left after the second night we are not picky people but basic services is what we expect

Not good, don’t stay in room 123. reeks of smoke even though it says non smoking room, air must be on to circulate that smell out, cigarette holes and black stains on curtains that were hanging by a thread, couldn’t open curtain as the rod would come off. Stains on sheet, super thin towels, you only get two bath towels. Maids are nice and will ask if you need anything each morning and turn down room before you return. Pillows are thin and flimsy. No remote for tv, hardly any outlets to charge anything. And they make you give a cash deposit, never stayed in a place that requires cash. Why can’t they charge on card just seems like they want to find an excuse to keep it, they did return it without problem but just couldn’t figure out why they insist on cash deposit. Weird. Wouldn’t stay again.
