Negatief: Netheid, personeel en service en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
When we arrived we were informed that due to renovations and a non-functioning front elevator, our fifth floor room was only accessible by stairs from the 4th to the 5th floor. Normally not an issue but we had a bit of luggage and they had few other options for alternate rooms. We accepted the room and we’re told that for our inconvenience, we would receive a credit if $30 per night. Despite my asking several times and being reassured the credit would come off the final bill, we never received a credit!
We understand that the hotel is renovating some areas but the same pile of dust and debris that was on the dining area floor on Friday was still on the floor Sunday. Our bathroom toilet had a disgusting black ring under the rim that was obvious when sitting in the bathtub suggesting it had been a very long time since the toilet had been cleaned well. When I asked about housekeeping for the room, I was told that each room is only cleaned every 4 days. Four days with the same bath towels was not acceptable to me so we asked for towels and did receive fresh ones but housekeeping never removed the used towels from the room or emptied waste baskets while we were there.
We have stayed at this hotel before and have never been overly impressed but stayed there out of convenience. This stay was by far the worst and we will not be returning.
