'Loved the location and being able to walk to restaurants. Love the backyard...we sit outside in the sun and read. Stairs were tricky for me...older female with knee problems. Kitchen was beautiful and well stocked for what we needed.'

'My sister and I were looking for a place we could just relax for Mother's Day weekend and this was the perfect spot. There was a coffee and tea bar complete with different flavored coffees and creamers, snacks, more toiletry options than I have at my own house, smart TVs in many rooms, and a hot tub to relax in. It was very clean, but also welcoming and homey. I definitely recommend this house for anyone who wants a comfortable, relaxed, chill getaway. I will be returning in the future.'

'We rented this cute little house for my family and a few of our friends for a softball tournament. The owners were great with communicating with us and the house was so clean! The beds were very comfortable and the location was perfect for us. The only thing I wish there had been a baby gate for the stairs, it’s a tri level so there was two small sets of stairs and it would have been great to have a way to block it off. But overall we would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend!'

'I rented this beautiful home for my wedding weekend, as our venue was close to the home, my guest and I had a great time here, the animals were great we really enjoyed them and I think they enjoyed all the pets we gave them , mourine was lovely and super helpful, it truly was just awesome, comfy beds pleanty of room, everything you need for a relaxing stay , just what we needed , thank you mourine for a great stay.'

'The home was clean and updated throughout. Only issue we had was with the well water. We're not used to well water and we were not prepared for the awful smell of it. Maybe a water softener or something would help but that was the only major drawback we had here (and only reason we can't give it 5 stars). Owners provided timely information on check-in and check-out process.'

'Absolutely amazing! The house was perfect for our family. The town is so lovely and our new friends we made at the bowling alley a block away we will never forget. The home had everything you could ask for and the beds were so comfy. We enjoyed listening to records and playing cards. I wish we had more time. Would definitely stay again.'

'We had a great time, living room was super cozy and adjacent kitchen was extremely convenient, WiFi was fast enough for streaming as advertised, however was not fast enough for Remote Desktop connection for work so we had to check-out a night early. Just a small nitpick not too serious, we had a hotspot with us just in-case but we had very poor reception for it so that wouldn’t work either, that’s not their fault no worries there'

'This location is right across from a golf course so it was quiet. Be aware that at this time (May 5-10, 2024) there is road construction which makes Torrey Road a one way but that doesn't affect how nice this property is. It is a very pleasant house and we recommend it it to everyone. Plus, this location allows pets for you to bring along your fur baby!'

'We had a lovely time at Acorn Lodge! Bob was very easy to work with and had excellent communication skills. The location was comfortable and fit all 14 of us well. We loved the trails and the rustic feel of the outdoors.'
