'This was a comfortable, roomy cottage. We used it as a home base for exploring the Isles of Harris and Lewis. The owners were friendly and very responsive. This is still one of the spots we rave about after our trip. There is a great little coffee/tea/shop just at the end of the drive with a friendly proprietor and even friendlier doggo. '

'Traditional island cottage with everything you need for a home to home stay. Very clean and well presented, comfy beds too, always a bonus. Situated at the north end of Lewis it’s quite remote but amazingly peaceful. Limited places to eat out and you need to book well ahead but the local restaurant does takeaway in the evenings and it’s two minutes away in a beautiful setting above the harbour and beach. 'We had a great time in the Decca- the former radio navigation station in the very northwest of the Isle of Lewis. It is just some steps of the Butt of Lewis, where there is an amazing landscape with a lot of beautiful sheep.'
