'Couple of things broken in my room. Safe could not open 2 times, door to the jacuzzi was broken, jacuzzi was not clean when arrived so i did not trust the water and did not use it. Only the last 2 days it was cleaned. Overall the hotel is ok. Just book yourself a standard room. It's not worth the money to spend more on other rooms. The hotel staff is great. Friendly, helpfull and will make you feel welcome.'

'Uitstekend hotel met veel comfort, geweldig personeel en in centrum Kolkata. Zondermeer voor herhaling vatbaar. Voorbeeld ter illustratie: 's morgens om half 6 met hoteltaxt naar vliegveld. Staat er ongevraagd een doos met ontbijt gereed. Of beltegoed lokale simcard is op en hotelpersoneel zorgt er voor dat tegoed wordt opgewaardeerd terwijl ik al weer onderweg ben. Een kritiekpunt: helaas WiFi tegen extra betaling na 1e uur gratis. Komt in het westen niet meer voor en past niet bij het...

"The Oberoi Grand hotel Kolkata. Stay from April 25 until May 5, 2023 The accommodation has met the expectations of a 5-star hotel. The hotel is located in a busy shopping street with a lot of traffic and crowds of people, quite normal for a city with over 14 million inhabitants. Once within the grounds of the hotel, it was an oasis of peace, and there was little to notice of the bustle and chaos outside. The hotel is centrally located from where many sights can be visited on foot. The reception at the gate and entrance by the guards and staff gave us a feeling of warm welcome. The hotel staff are very attentive, helpful and always friendly towards the guests. They are customer and solution oriented and they meet the wishes of the guest. The rooms are spacious and meet the standards of 5-star hotels. The breakfast is very varied and the staff is always ready to fulfill requests beyond the buffet. We have experienced our stay at The Oberoi Grand hotel as very pleasant. "
