Fijne ligging van hotel. Gedateerd hotel, heeft ook wel weer zijn charme. Ietwat stoffige en viezige kamer. Ontbijt zeer uitgebreid met veel verschillende keuzes. Zwembad klein. Wat wij vervelend vonden is dat de eigenaar personeel vrij hard toespreekt over dingen die zij anders moeten doen in bijzijn van gasten.

Zeer goede ligging in centrum, uiterst comfortabel met zeer adequaat personeel. Zeer aan te raden bij verblijf enkele dagen in Stellenbosch

Mooi Stellenbosch
Prima hotel midden in Stellenbosch. Zeer goed restaurant (en tegen de huidige wisselkoers zeer gunstig geprijsd). Auto wordt door hotel in de buurt geparkeerd. Service tot in de finesse. Zoals dat op de dag van vertrek je auto al klaar staat, zonder dat je erom hoeft te vragen.

Ontbijt een 10!
Voor 8ste keer in Stellenbosch, nu een keer in hotel. Ontbijt beste tot nu toe, vers gebakken broodjes/muffins etc. Internet werkte niet iedere keer,maar kan extern probleem geweest zijn. Bedden/beddengoed heel erg goed. Service erg goed/mensen heel aardig en service gericht.

Prettig Hotel met goed restuarant
Buitengewoon prettig Hotel met vriendelijke personeel, Restaurant is een van de betere in de omgeving en heerlijk gegeten. Hotel ligt in het Centrum met fijn Buiten terras en parkeren is op vallet Basis wat overigens prima was. Kamer zijn goed met een fijn bed en schoon en ruime douche. Kamer 12 heeft sochtends wat last van de buren wanneer je met de ramen open wilt slapen. Er is tevens een airco aanwezig. Maar bovenal een prima en vertrouwde plaats om te slapen.

Wonderful small hotel in Stellenbosch center
I really enjoyed this hotel, the charm and feel of the beautiful old building, the friendliness of al the people working there, the delicious breakfast and the terrace in front where you can sip your glass of wine or have lunch and enjoy the scenery of Churchstreet. A special thanks to Wonder, who was so sweet to lend us his own car for a few days, when there were no rental cars anymore in the West Cape! Wonder should be employee of the year of this hotel!

Een mooi en comfortabel kleinschalig hotel in het centrum van Stellenbosch. Het ontbijtbuffet was subliem en de dienstverlening uitstekend. De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is meer dan prima!

Unfortunately, our room had two outside walls one was on the outside dining area, and the other was on the pool area. It was not peaceful nor private. Load shedding was unfortunately terrible and we got no sleep due to the fact that this hotel does not have A generator and the air conditioning was out for several hours during sleeping hours. I found it very strange that you would have to walk through the dining room and the outside dining area to get to the pool. Everything was very tight and awkward.

Coopmanhuijs was a wonderful location for our stay. The staff was phenomenal and willing to help with any of our needs. We had breakfast every morning and the food was excellent. All of downtown Stellenbosch was easily walkable and safe from the hotel. My room was very comfortable with an amazing bathroom with heated floors. The hotel also has a backup generator so load shedding is never an issue.

Cute period hotel, central, nice room and great bathroom. Some confusion at check-in with parking - circled several times, but is actually valet parking in a nearby garage facility, so bags in car not accessible as planned - also not comfortable with valet parking during COVID (suggest needs some thought)! Would have appreciated advance notification of impact of planned electricity blackouts: annoying to not charge appliances, use hairdryer etc as planned - how were we to know about blackouts? Grateful to drop bags early, before check-in time, so we could explore.

5 Sterne Hotel mit Standard-Zimmer ohne Fenster
Wir buchten ein Standard Zimmer für CHF 200.- pro Nacht und erhielten ein 10 m2 kleines Zimmer ohne Fenster. Zimmer Nr. 1. Und das in einem 5 Sterne Hotel? Bei unserer Reklamation taten sie zuerst so wie sie nichts davon wüssten. Anschliessend danken sie für den Hinweis. Der Hinweis war für sie sehr wichtig, aber es tat sich nichts. Da das Zimmer nicht zum Lüften ist, erhielt ich noch einen allergischen Schub (Hausstaub und Milben). Wir waren 2 Nächte dort. Nie wieder.

Fabulous hotel in central Stellenbosch
A small extension to our holiday so we chose Coopmanhuijs and it did not disappoint. A lovely room overlooking the pool, extremely clean and the service was fabulous & friendly. Highly recommend both the hotel & Helena’s Restaurant.

It’s a boutique hotel so the rooms, reception and pool area are not large. The staff are courteous and helpful and the location is fantastic - right in the middle of town with restaurants, bars, galleries and shops on the doorstep.

rooms that are so noisy and situated near dining areas/ next door restaurant kitchens and should not be allowed to be used as guest rooms. find another place until they learn to allocate rooms appropriately. it would be more suitable to not have guests in the noisy rooms and just make their commercial sales from their restaurant.

Fantastiskt liten pärla mitt i Stellenbosh.gammal ”kolonial” känsla fast nytt och fräscht. Supertrevlig personal. Vi stannade tyvärr bara för en natt innan avresa mot flygplatsen.vi hade med oss stora väskor från vår bilresa runt i Sydafrika,kanske lite för stora för dessa små men jätte fina rum.
