Great stay! Staff lovely and friendly. Room clean, bed comfy. Only negative was the water. At dinner the waiter told us the tap water wasn't good to drink due to the pipes. There was no mention of this when we checked in or in our room.

Overall great stay for great price and dog friendly without upcharge! .Big, spacious rooms with nice vibe, and very comfortable bed. Generous breakfast. Staff very polite and friendly. Liked that check in hours was up to 11pm, and last dinner booking up to 9 pm! While overall room was in great condition, couple areas in bathroom needed small touchup cosmetic rennovation. Bedroom ceiling light may be better with soft white rather than white lights. Also convenient location to Brecon Beacon depending on which part you’re visiting! Would stay again!

The property is set in a great location. Nice views and very quiet. Very well looked after grounds with good parking. It is used as a wedding venue. The reception area of the property was clean and modern. The bedroom upon first impressions was a decent size, well equipped with a nice view overlooking countryside. However the part of the property I was in had very thin walls and very creaky floorboards. The floorboards on the bedroom actually moved when someone walked down the corridor past my room, and the noise of anyone walking past was very loud. Unfortunately for me the occupant of the adjoining room was a loud snorer which carried on all night and then they were up at 7am chatting (which I could clearly hear) and more constant creaky floorboards! So not much sleep for me! All in all a nice looking place in a great location and maybe other parts of the property were quieter. I wouldn't stay again though.

The experience was amazing with fantastic views at Night, overlooking the city down below. The bed was super comfy, powerful shower with amazing toiletries. Apart from the false alarm that happened in the morning, there's nothing to fault. That was a bit scary as it went off twice.

A very enjoyable stay.
We had a super stay with you. All the staff were so polite and helpful. Our room was excellent with everything that we needed, and it was cleaned to a very high standard. We thought the standard of food was very good. Thoroughly recommended.

Stayed here while on a road trip with family. The common areas and reception are very modern and stylish but the rooms are a bit dated. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Wifi didn’t work in all of the rooms. Parking was easy free and convenient. Restaurant was amazing with delicious meals but pricey so the money you save on the accomodation is spent on food. Overall we had a good stay.

This is a fabulous hotel in a stunning setting, in a surprising location. The rooms and common areas are very high quality, food and service excellent. They hosted a wedding while we were there but it didn’t interfere with our experience at all. Couldn’t have asked for more

Water was slow draining from the shower tray, when I lifted the chrome waste cover the outlet it sat on was clogged with hair and extremely grimey.

The hotel was lovely in a beautiful countryside area overlooking greenery. Would come again but in the summer as i feel it would be a great choice. Lovely English breakfast i had the vegetarian option worth the price.

Wasn't the room pictured that we got and parts of the hotel were a bit warn down, needed a little TLC. Food was great and staff where friendly. We would stay again but hopefully get a nicer room. Food was nice.

This is a fantastic hotel at the end of a winding country lane. The staff we're all friendly and helpful and our dog was particularly welcome. Our room was in the coach house with a four poster bed. Very comfortable and warm. Dinner and breakfast in the dog friendly lounge we're great. We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and couldn’t get down the steps for breakfast. Staff were very helpful to accommodate us in the bar though. Relaxing night and a good night’s sleep. Will love to return to the hotel for Christmas or any other festivities 👍

Nice classy hotel
Nice hotel out of the way on top of a hill. Nice large traditional bedroom, nice comfy bed, chairs , table and a large desk. Superior room in the coach house but on the front of the hotel not much of a view and near the car park so you could hear cars early in the morning. Good value breakfast once I found the dining room and fast service, went down for dinner , no one at bar for 10 minutes so went to local pub instead.
