Muy limpio, tienen comunicación con el huesped antes de check inn, excelente atención del personal, el desayuno no es mucho pero lo todo lo demas lo compensa, nos gusto la piscina muy limpia y climatizada, es un hotel bien cuidado.

I love the location right by the beach and Carlsbad Village is walking distance. Stayed in the interior of the hotel with partial pool view and close access to the rec room. Didn't get a chance to check out the breakfast but coffee and tea is provided until rec room is close. We like sleeping in when out of town but it started getting a bit noisy before 9am. Being spring break there were families running around. Just wish there were more signs to mind the noise or that windows and doors downstairs are more noise proofed. If it isn't the guest it's the carts that are wheeled around the facility. I wouldn't recommend staying downstairs in the interior side if noise will be an issue for someone. Upstairs rooms are probably more quiet. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay

Very outdated and dirty. The shower is a joke; the height is so low and it barely worked. The beds were hard and the blankets were thin. The continental breakfast was weak. The only positive was the view.

Would definitely stay here again! Staff are friendly and there is a family feel, very different from corporate big chain hotels. Great amenities and location and price can’t be beat!

The room is spacious and nicely updated. Our room also had a small patio with partial ocean view. There is a small refrig and a convenient microwave. The ottoman bench, at the end of the bed actually came in handy to place items on or sit and put my shoes on. The hotel had placed robes there upon our arrival. There's plenty of space for clothing. The bathroom included a nice dressing area. There's a secure enclosed parking area with direct access to the interior of the hotel. A pool and 2 spas are located in the courtyard. Beach access is directly across Carlsbad Blvd.

The room faced the pool area and was very dark with little privacy and even less sound proofing. We were woken up by the housekeeping carts early each morning. In addition, the breakfast was the worst complimentary hotel breakfast I have experienced. We tried to enjoy the top floor common area that looks out on the ocean but it was closed for a private event. Overall a very disappointing stay. The only upside was the walkability and parking.

While I do appreciate some of the extra touches provided at this hotel (robe, newspaper, free parking, list of activities, fireplace lit in lobby) there are some core areas that need improvement. The beds need to be replaced. The “hump” in the middle from years of people sleeping on the edge is the worst I’ve ever experienced. You literally feel like you are falling off the bed. Also, the carpets need to be replaced. It was ripped, torn and very old looking. I definitely felt the need to wear my flip flops at all times while walking on the carpet. The curtain was almost black from grease, grime and dirt from people opening the curtain. Needs to be cleaned or replaced. The doors throughout the property were dirty around the handle from people’s hands etc. They just need a simple Clorox bleach wipe down. The heater in the room worked well to heat the room but it was so loud we jumped every time it turned on and couldn’t have it on while we slept. While the location is amazing and the views spectacular, I will not be able to return unless these areas are addressed. Thank you very much for you consideration.

I stayed here with my two daughters and felt safe. We walked to dinner at Carlsbad village and grabbed yummy treats and the strawberry shack. The hotel fitted our needs. We were able to get DVDs from the rec room and they provided continental breakfast in our way out. They have some of activities throughout the week and a good rec room to loan out games and DVD’s. It also has a pool table and ping pong table. There was one loud guest above us but luckily they eventually got settled. It was nice to have free parking in the under ground garage they provide for one car

Loved the convenience of the location to everything which is always nice. But besides the place being clean, safe and quie, the hotel staff was friendly and very helpful from start to finish! Hard to find such great customer service!
