'Gorgeous land and buildings. Amazing room. A door on the master bath cabinet in our room had broken hinges and it looked like it had been that way for a while and not repaired. The shower felt a little awkward with no good place to hang your towel while you shower so you could easily get it when you're done. One of the drawers in the master bedroom would not stay closed and would slide open slightly by itself. Overall, an incredible place to stay.'

'Weer een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij the Americana Village. Het is een leuk complex en we hadden een mooie ruime kamer met keukentje, (eet)tafel en bank. Op loopafstand van Heavenly Village waar genoeg te shoppen en te eten is. Ontbijtfaciliteit had iets beter gekund.'

'We had a wonderful time. Being in a top floor, we had vaulted ceilings, spacious two bedroom and 2.5 bathrooms. A large fully equipped kitchen. W/D, fireplace, deep tubs…it was so nice. Our east side view also gave us the wonderful AM sunlight streaming thru our bedrooms in the morning. I would recommend doing spot cleaning for the couches and carpets. We also were almost back broken due to the stiff mattresses. Few issues that we made work: jacuzzi was out of order during the visit, fire...

'The hotel is situated in a secluded part but close enough to the stateline. My wife and I stayed for only 1 night but we loved the amenities within the room, and quaintness of the property. The best thing is that communication is extremely fast with the property representatives, and you have keyless/cordless access to the units. '

'This property was great! We loved it and will probably go back. It was clean, quiet, and our room was close to everything. When I go back to Tahoe I will be trying to book with the Lodge at Tahoe again'

'We had a wonderful time spring Skiing, walking distance from Palisades Tahoe. Pool and hot tub. Rooms very rustic and simple, very nice. '

'De cottage is oud en vies en wordt voor veel te veel geld te huur aangeboden. Toe aan een grondige renovatie. Geen mogelijkheid om fatsoenlijk buiten te zitten (oud en kapot meubilair en afgebroken veranda), nauwelijks ingerichte keuken en het huis is niet goed schoongemaakt. Veel lawaai van de doorgaande weg, waar de cottag direct aan ligt. Veel bouwmaterialen slingeren over het terrein. Grote afrader, er zijn veel mooiere motels, hotels en Cabins in de buurt te huur.'

'The absolute best place to stay in South Lake Tahoe if you're planning on going skiing. SUPER convenient to Gondola, clean rooms, 2 hot tubs, quiet, and a great staff. '

'Outside appearance not great but our little room was clean and comfortable. Queen bed, bathtub to soak after skiing, microwave and fridge all included. Had to do the check in at a different hotel but it was only 2 hotels over. Ate at an excellent pizza place right across the street. Good food and service.'

'Cozy, rustic cabin surrounded by huge pine trees. A little dated - could use a good cleaning and some maintenance, but the dogs enjoyed the fenced yard and we found we could walk to a few different restaurants and coffee shops.'
