leuk en vooral ruim appartement, de uitrusting in de keuken was eerder beperkt maar voldoende. Veel kasten om alles op te bergen.

Goede locatie maar wij komen er nooit meer!
De locatie is goed in de buurt van de pistes. Echter dit hotel gaan wij nooit meer bezoeken. De kamer was ronduit smerig, er lag een gebruikte luier in onze kamer (we waren zonder baby ;)). We gaven dit aan bij de receptie maar daar werden wij op de gebruikelijke hartelijke Franse manier onthaald en werd medegedeeld dat dit niet hun probleem was en dat zij er niks aan gingen doen. We moesten maar wachten tot de volgende dag (schoonmaakploeg). We hadden daar 4 kamers geboekt voor 4 nachten.

Ruime appartementen met schitterend uitzicht
Schitterend uitzicht vanuit alle kamers op Mont Blanc. Ruime kamers, goed onderhouden, heel rustig gelegen net buiten het levendige centrum van Chamonix.

5 minuten lopen naar centrum stadje, half uur tot bovenaan de berg bij piste.
Wij verblijven met zekere regelmaat in dit complex. Telkens met veel plezier. Rustige ambiance, comfortabel met parkeergarage, zwembad, hammam e.d., prettige medewerkers, goed gelegen bij stadje en liften. Prachtig uitzicht op Mont Blanc massief. Ook zomers plezierig. Aanrader.

Les Balcons du Savoy, prima wintersport hotel.
Prima hotel welke vrijwel aan de (baby)piste van Chamonix ligt. Ook het centrum is op slechts 3 minuten loopafstand. Zwembad met Hamman zijn helemaal top evenals de bereidwillgheid van het personeel. Aanbevelingswaardig. Over het eten kan ik geen oordeel plaatsen.

Our family of 4 loved our stay in the quaint Les Balcons du Savoy! Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The view of the surrounding Alps is spectacular! The property is an easy walk to the main street of Chamonix (lots of restaurants and shopping) as well as a short bus ride to the gondola for skiing. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

The property was well located to visit the town and see the resort. The room had a kitchenette which allowed us to relax and not feel pressure to eat out. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great stay at the hotel.

It was a good stay except for the lack of flexibility of the check out at 10 AM. The staff argue that room and parking are booked but checking is a 5 pm. Not long ago check outs were at 12 PM and check out at 1 PM. The tight check-in and check-out schedules are inconvenient because travel plans often have uncertainties like flight delays or traffic. A rigid time frame makes it difficult to adjust. Also, checking out early in the morning mean can’t enjoy amenities like swim in the pool and strict schedule add stress to what should be a relaxing experience. I will looking for better checking in and out schedules when booking hotels in the futuro.

Vue fantastique, chambre très spacieuse et fonctionnelle avec une cuisine et un beau balcon sans vis à vis. My family really enjoyed the stay at Les Balcons du Savoy. Marvellous views and very family friendly. Kids loved the pool and the playroom. Everything is walking distance and at the same time it’s in a very quiet location. We all had a very pleasant and relaxing time.

Excellent and Perfect Property ! Great Quality Apartments with a Great View Overlooking the Mont Blanc Range and the Landing Area for Paragliders !! Super Balcony, Racellete and Fondue Maker, Good Kitchen ! Games Room for Children, Good Parking !! What more can one ask for !! Location was slightly away from the center but the walk was nice and only few minutes - so would highly recommend ! 5 to 10 minute walk to various Cable Cars and Gondolas and Trains and Trams ! AWESOME !

It was a 4 mins walking distance to the nearby bus stops. Located on a steep hill. Still manageable with luggages. Decided to stay here for the views, and it was indeed a wise choice. The accommodation is roughly 5-10minutes away from the shops in town. We chose the suite option, which was perfect for my family. Room came with all the basics, as listed in the hotel booking details. Although old, the beddings were comfy. You would see paragliders landing right in front of the hotel, which was another perk to add. I would recommend this place for families and folks that want a place like home. Getting around Chamonix by foot is still manageable. However, I'd recommend renting a car if you're looking to explore outskirts of Chamonix, as the transport system goes by the hour, which limits travel plans.
