'Just finished our weekend. It truly was a paradise on the Palestine. House was clean and well decorated. We spent our time around the fire pit. We fished and kayaked. Plenty of space in doors and out for our group of 9. 'From the minute we sat on the porch, our stress dissolved. This was the PERFECT weekend getaway! Our host helped hook us up with a fishing guide, and we FEASTED like royalty! 'Everything about our stay was wonderful! Timely, thoughtful and informative communication from the host before we arrived and our stay was actually better than expected. We used their kayaks to paddle around the lake, took many leaps off the private dock into the water and listened to a multitude of birds from the bird reserve next to the house. 'Joined my sisters in a weekend get away to rest, relax and reconnect. This home is spacious, lots of throws. Upstair and downstair areas, sleeping and sitting. Outdoor upstair patio was great for my morning stretch/workout. Large yard down to lake with pier. Quiet neighbors. Close to Chandler and not far to Tyler. GPS brought us straight to driveway. 'Hey Russ, Thanks for letting my wife and I stay at the cabin this weekend. We had a wonderful time as always and will be back. Only note just for info not complaining as we had the upstairs. I guess due to the power outage maybe the doors or windows were opened. There was an abundance of flies downstairs and just wanted to share as a heads up. We shifted to upstairs and were perfectly fine just wanted you to know I had the house secure and I guess those little pest got in before our arrival.'

'Such a great hidden gem! Like others, online pictures do not sue it justice. Three bed rooms were large and comfortable but the master is massive! Nice are for kids to play and sleep in loft.
