The Hotel Chalet is nice. It's very convenient to downtown Chattanooga and it's really fun to be at the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo. The property is nice and well-maintained. The rooms are very dark. Even with all the lights on, it was kind of hard to see. The bathroom door has to be propped open to keep it open, and that was a bit inconvenient since we were depending on the bathroom for light in the room. They haven't done much to make the patio area outsides the room pretty or inviting. They forgot to clean our room even though cleaning it is SOP there. It was a good stay, but it's not excellent. It did seem clean enough.

Checked in at 3pm and said my room wasn’t ready. I asked when and they said they didn’t know and they would “text me”. Front desk person was not helpful. They ended up texting me at 7pm. Not enough parking (it’s $9/day, 18/night). I had to park in the parking structure and walk in. The parking lot was full so I attempted to park in the adjacent public lot. Bellhop came up to me in the parking lot and said “you’re not paying online are you?”. I needed to check in and then park. Just an overall bad experience and we’ve only been I. Our room for a couple hours.

It’s at the end of a cool dead end street but you are not sure whether you are getting a Pullman room or one set up to look like one. I was fooled. Also, you are charged $18 a day to park along the road next to the hotel.

Rooms are very stylish with excellent beds. Bathroom a bit small, but are upscale in appearance with very nice shower, most water pressure I have ever had at a hotel. Bathroom needs a ventilation fan to use during showers. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Parking is expensive and limited. Ended up parking in nearby garage for much better rates. Multiples excellent restaurants in the immediate vicinity plus free shuttle runs every 5-10 minutes which can take you to most downtown areas.

The hotel was so cute and eclectic. They do not offer a continental breakfast and you have to pay $18 a night to park and sometimes there was no parking. It shares a lot with several other businesses. Great location.

The building and decor is so unique. Wish price wasn’t so high for sleeper car…they look so cool. We walked everywhere. Hotel is a prime location.

Chose this place because it was close to a concert we went too, and it practically shared the parking lot with the venue. It was within walking distance and it made it very pleasant.

Really disappointed in the hidden $50 pet fee. Would not have chosen this property if that were the case. Advertised as pet friendly. Had a small 7 lb pup along for the ride and the advertised “pet friendly” was not disclosed as an additional $50. Asked for help with the property and nothing was done to fix the issue. Buyer beware.

We always want our guests to feel welcome and to bring along their furry friends, and we are proud of the fact that we can offer this opportunity at such a low cost in comparison to others in our area. Our Front Desk agents informed you of this fee at checkin, and I personally tried calling your number on file the next morning to apologize for the confusion and explain our policy, but never could get in touch with you. However, the fee was removed, as a one time courtesy, the same day that you checked out. I have sent you an updated invoice that reflects this, just in case you hadn’t received it previously. We hope that you will come stay with us again, as it seems you enjoyed your stay otherwise. Warm regards.

Our first time at The Chalet and we had a great stay. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable, we had a large tv and complimentary robes to use. The bathroom was also very nice, had great water pressure and complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body was. It was also centrally located and able to walk to multiple bars and restaurants.
