motel matig..De rest top
Het motel zelf is aan een update toe. Het is netjes maar links en rechts oogt het oud en versleten. Het motel zelf heeft topfaciliteiten als een redelijke grote moderne gym en zwembad. daarbij een heerlijke jacuzzi. De omgeving is super. Vooral als ie met een kano of Kayak de thousand islands wil verkennen. Toen we aan waren gekomen bleek de airco kapot. we konden kiezen voor korting of we mochten verder kijken en als er niks te vinden was in de omgeving alsnog terugkeren. we kregen door het airco probleem wat gratis flessen water, wat snacks en anti mug lotion. Veel oudere maar zeer aardige mensen op het resort

Even With Confirmation Number, No Room
I made a reservation two weeks in advance and received a confirmation number which I took with me for check in. When I went to check in I was informed that no rooms were available. I had to trailer my boat and head 100 miles back home. Management blamed Hotels.com and Hotels.com blamed management. Either way my trip was ruined and I drove 200 miles for nothing. Confirmation number meant nothing, buyer beware! All attempts to call Hotels.com went to their foreign assistants, whose English and understanding were lacking. A waste of time!

The property does not have any daily accommodations. I had to drive to the next town and was fortunate to get the only room available for a much higher rate.

Expedia screws up
Booked the reservations thru expedia, two nights confirmed. Drove down to the resort and they told us they had no rooms, the hurricane destroyed them. No other options,left the area an drove to Miami an got a place to stay. My advice to everyone, don't trust expedia, call ahead, don't do like us an put our trust in expedia.now I wonder will I be charged for two nights stay that never happened.

Terrible Experience
I booked this "resort" for the location in the Everglades. We didn't get a chance to experience it, because when we arrived, we were told the hurricane wiped them out & they had no rooms available. Expedia was little to no help to us placing us at an overpriced motel room 45 minutes north with no discounts or credits issued.

Not worth the room price
A gallon of paint, $100 in new carpet, and some wall paper paste would go a long way for these rooms. Stained. nasty carpet, rooms not painted in 20 years, broken kitchen cabinets, and a bathroom not fully cleaned in years. The room should be $25, not $119+. But actually nice RV park with nice pool.

Our confirmation was not honored by the hotel. The man was rude and said that just because travelocity confirmed, doesn't mean that they do. I would never trust this resort.

Awful!
If you're staying as a RV guest, you'll probably love it. If you're staying in the room, it's a total dive. All wall paper in bathroom peeling off walls, no electrical plug in bathroom, lights in kitchen worked little and few times, thrift-store-like furnishings. TV had no closed caption. Almost everything we tried to use either malfunctioned or was below par. We chose this hotel for price but it is way, way over-rated and at no value at all. The manager said all property investments went to things like swim and play areas for the motor park. The rooms reflect "we don't give a rip". Geesh, paint it or hang a picture. Bring in your tool box for a day...We cut our 2 day stay to one. Thank goodness Hotels.com got our 2nd night credited back to us.

The only place in town with a room available.
This place needs some serious fixing up and cleaning. Dead bugs in the kitchen cabinets, cockroach on the floor, glass topped coffee table missing glass. Outdoor furniture indoors, WiFi that doesn't work This could be a great place - instead it languishes in mediocrity.

Hotel accogliente con piscina riscaldata, vasca idromassaggio, palestra abbastanza attrezzata, campi da tennis in ottimo stato, tutto perfetto fino a quando ci hanno consegnato le racchette da tennis visibilmente datate e con tanto di corde rotte (non una sola eh!). Veramente unica pecca in un ottimo posto.

The adjacent RV park, the pool, tennis courts and clubhouse were beautiful. The motel on the other hand, could really use a fire so that it can be rebuilt.

Great Location
The manager was really nice and helpful, unfortunately the rooms are very old and could do with a complete overhaul. However, this is such a great location, you don't stay in your room long. The swimming pool is great and the manager very helpful. Great spot for fishing.

Convenient and good location for fishing
This place is for crashing after a day of fishing. Nothing fancy but room was comfortable. Certainly could use modernizing but if you stay here you are there to fish, not stay in a hotel room all day. Wi-Fi was very slow but I'm surprised they knew what it was. TV set was the size of a small computer monitor, needed binoculars to see it. There are no frills with this place, no free breakfast, etc. Just a place to park the boat, go to sleep, get up and do it all over again. it did have a kitchenette but you had better stop for food long before you get there. Front desk clerk was nice and was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Housekeeping was good and timely. We were on a weekend fishing trip so it met our needs.

The staff was helpful and friendly we slept good the air conditioning was good. we saw a couple those palmetto bugs but I understand that here in the Everglades we just have squash them and go on. They are everywhere part of nature here. We would not let that keep us from coming back.

Très loin de nos attentes. Accueil sympa mais c est tout. L état de la chambre, la vétusté de la SDB et les cafards, et les puces... On s est fait piqué!!! Piscine très très agréable et l emplacement font rêver. Mais c est tout

Room is in need of renovations. Tile chipped and falling off wall in bathroom, Door to room & patio did not secure well, had to play with locks to get it to work. Table in room was balanced by a towel that was also used to soak up the water from leaking fridge. Do to late check in and early check out, we couldn't find any staff to report deficiencies. The marina & RV resort seemed to be in good order though.

If you would like to go back to a dingy 60's motel this is the place. The RV park has million dollar vehicles. The room was dark had dirty carpeting and tub.

Trevlig personal men rummet luktade mögel, stora fläckar på heltäckningsmattan, tapeten hängde lös på väggen. Städerskan hade gjort sitt bästa för att hålla rent men det kändes inte som ett ställe man ville stanna mer än en natt. Wifi fungerade inte på rummet. Dyrt för den här låga standarden.

volevamo un hotel alle porte delle everglades e la scelta non era molto grande. il motel è in posizione comoda, ma è proprio l'unica nota positiva. del resort neanche l'ombra, un tipico motel americano con la solita vecchia moquette, mobili datati, bagno vecchio e cieco, cucinotta da evitare meglio non guardare all'interno dei pensili. pulizia appena sufficiente, per lo meno le lenzuola e gli asciugamani erano puliti. insomma una sistemazione spartana ma a costi da resort, per 130€ mi aspettavo qualcosa di meglio.

They tried to say I did not have a reservation with them when I showed them I made the reservation on line and not thru them. Told me the reservation had been cancelled by expedia.

Lovely, quiet resort.
We stayed a week in one of the motel rooms. The room was very clean and we loved the kitchenette. The room had a deck where we could watch the sunrise and sunset. The pool was great as well as the hot tub. Kenny is a great host. He lent us a flashlight when he was concerned about a possible storm. Zoeann was our housekeeper and she was so cheerful and accomodating. We loved staying in the glades.

Email said no need to call to confirm. Upon arrival they don't have reservation and are booked up. Spent an additional $50 staying somewhere else. Third time I've booked through Expedia with a lost reservation, it will be my last time using that site.

Motel typique aux Everglades
On voulait passer 1 nuit dans les Everglades, en couple, et ces chambres situées dans un R.V. Resort sont idéales pour goûter à cette ambiance particulière au coeur des Everglades. De l'accueil "couleur locale" aux chambres d'une autre époque, tout est là pour se sentir dépaysé totalement ! On est totalement satisfaits, ça correspondait à nos attentes mais il faut être conscient d'où on "met les pieds".

Shabby, but ok.
Beautiful location. I stayed in a room with a kitchenette. The room was old, and in need of upgrades. The carpet was loose, the bathtub drain looked like it had been chewed from the inside - the porcelain in the tub was rubbed off. The kitchen cabinetry was drooping from age and wear. The bed was comfortable. The supplies in the kitchen were good. The TV was new. The view was spectacular, and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. This motel is very old and just needs some upgrades to make it look a little less shabby. I would stay again.

Great location, not exactly a "resort"
Great location for hiking, kayaking, etc. in Everglades, Big Cypress, and Ten Thousand Islands. That's why we stayed here, and we were well satisfied with the location. However, be advised that the motel is old and worn. The office isn't always staffed, so you may have to call someone when you arrive, even fairly early in the evening. I found the bed too firm for comfort, which I don't at most hotels, although bed firmness is obviously a matter of taste. And in our room, the Wi-Fi just barely worked some of the time; the signal was often too weak to use with any of the four different devices we tried. All in all, it's a decent place to stay, but aside from the nice pool, jacuzzi, and tennis courts, it doesn't fit my image of a "resort".

Scary room, nice staff, great pool
The staff was friendly but i don't believe they knew what they were doing. The room was a little scarey. The bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke from the room next door and had holes in wall and peeling paper. This is prob why there was a 20% off room.I had brought my verification paperwork with me for the discount I got at hotels.com. they couldnt figure how to ring it up on register. I just gave them cash, showed them how to write a reciept and hoped for the best. The pool and hot tub were very nice to end on a good note.
