'Goodland is awesome for: -guiet peaceful neighborhood by day - evenings full of music( in season) -fresh fish from Kirk's -access to shelling and fishing trips right down the road at the boat park. -Marco Island 15 minute drive away. The house was well equipped, very clean and the golf cart was great for going to the boat park and restaurants . Hosts were quick to help with questions and a cooler. Great stay! -taking the Hemingway ferry to Keewaydin Island.'

'The three of us fly fished for 3 days with local guides. This house is 3 minutes from the boat ramp. Plenty of room.'

'We enjoyed the stay very much, took a 1/2 day fishing charter right from the boat launch (5 min walk), we liked having 4 decent restaurants within walking distance, several had live music! Nothing negative whatsoever to report!'

The host was the best VRBO host we have encountered, the cottage was first class and not lacking for any household items. 'We brought our 3 children (18 mos, 6 years and 10 years) and family friends who are avid fishermen. The house, location and host were all amazing. Lostman's Lodge is perfect for kids and adults who love to fish. The pool and hot tub were wonderful (the pool is huge). The dock is large and the kids made memories of a lifetime fishing from it every night for hours. The house is beautiful and comfortable (the kids loved their loft for sleeping). 'This was a beautiful home, with lots of room for our family. My in-laws have a much smaller condo in the area and this allowed for us to get together in a much larger area for a birthday party for our 10 year old. Thank you for sharing this place with us.'

'Short drive from the idle hour'

'We had a large group of college friends stay here for a long weekend and it was exactly what we needed! Plenty of beds, large outdoor space, towels/showers. Also, walking distance to Stan's on Sundays and a short drive over to Marco Island. Would stay here again!'

'Clean and modern, plenty of supplies and especially towels. So quiet after 9 pm, slept wonderfully. The canal access allowed us to rent a boat for the week tied up out front. The only complaint would be that the bicycles are unusable. This neighborhood is wonderful for bikes, to and from the restaurants.'

'Great property on the water, but renters should be warned that Stan's bar is just across the canal, and the bands are really loud... all day long. The unit is could use upgrades throughout, especially in the master bath and kitchen. The photos in the listing make the space seem a lot newer and lighter than it is. Most screens had holes in them, so fresh air - especially in the evening when the mosquitoes were thick - was not an option. Not an issue in the summer, when AC 24/7 is the norm. But...

'The place we stayed in Naples was god. The unit is in a resort-complex that was once a high-end facility with numerous amenities. It does show it's age. The pool is exceptionally large and beautiful. The units were located a 10 minute drive from 2 national/state parks where we saw manatees and a variety of native birds. Overall, it was a good deal for the price.'

'Not much parking with a boat trailer. The people are very nice around there,and you can get fuel and bait and tackle all at the same place and don’t have to drive up town. Overall perfect location. I will keep coming back for sure.'
