'Denis and Pam were lovely; we felt like guests in a beautiful home and not like we were in a hotel. The bed was comfortable, the room was well-appointed, and the bathroom was luxurious. The breakfast was outstanding, as was the hosts’ company, including two adorable dogs. It was a short drive to everything we wanted to see and do in Christchurch, and a bus stop was close by. We highly recommend a stay here. '

'I arrived at the property and the owner came out after an hour to tell me that he knows nothing about this ad being advertised and refused us entry to the property. Gareth is the room mate of the owner. Gareth doesn't answer his phone or his messages. I'm now trying to get a refund.. don't stay here at all unless you want to lose your money'

'One of a kind, large, five star bed and breakfast near to restaurants, downtown! Hosts were amazing to talk with and breakfasts were delicious. Rooms and bathrooms were exceptionally specious! 'The hosts were excellent - very welcoming and went the extra mile for our kids when they asked to pat the dog or for a hot chocolate at breakfast time. The five-o-clock wine time was a lovely chance to chat with other guests from around the world. Very convenient location. Only downside is that it's an older building so the noise from Christchurch's boy racers can be irritating at night. A minor problem. We would definitely stay again.'

'B&B style but not offer the breakfast. The breed and milk only will be charged $13 per person. The bathroom is dirty. '

'I absolutely loved my stay at this beautiful B & B. Warm, inviting, kind, cheerful...It felt just like home!! The food, scenery and hostess were Amazing. It was a wonderful start to my vacation in New Zealand. I would absolutely recommend this B & B and hope I have another chance to spend time here again. A little note on the side... At the time when I was booking this B & B with this site, VRBO, I did not realize this is an American owned company and therefore the price is in U.S. dollars....

'This is just a normal family house let out in rooms. It is not a guest house or hotel. One room has en suite the orhers share a bathroom. Shared kichen etc. Owner lives elsewhere and tried to move us from the en suite room we had booked. We stayed one night then moved elsewhere.'

'Prima accomodatie, dicht bij hrt centrum. Straat was alleen wat rumoerig. 'Snacht vertrekkende gasten mer koffers op wielen. Een volgende keer toch weer kiezen voor deze accomodatie, alleen al vanwege de loopafstand naar het centrum!'

'The location is excellent couple of mins to Cashel Mall Rivercity & the Oxford St restaurants - can easily walk to all the CBD areas units very well equipped so can easily self cater if u wanted to. They are not large but big enough - staff very good - would certainly go back'
