Older but just fine. Had an issue with the bathroom sink faucet. It was loose and could only get slightly warm water from it. No big deal. I notified staff when I checked out. Room was clean and neat.

Infested with flies, bathroom dirty. Bathroom door want even painted, and had large water stains on it. Sheets looked like someone had slept on them and left nasty stains on them

Modest motel at a fair price. Adjacent to highway with lots of truck traffic, noisy if you're a light sleeper. Single shower but good water pressure and lots of hot water. Overall it was about what I expected for the price, reasonable place to stay.

It was okay for a one night stay, but don't expect to take a shower. Also, the highway makes a lot of noise. I can sleep through everything, do it wasn't an issue for me, but if you're a light sleeper, your probably better off drinking too Amarillo.

I understand this is a modest motel in a rural location. The noise from the highway was considerable. My bed vibrated and made noise all night long and I could not figure out how to turn it off. The window unit heater was fierce and the room was more comfortable without it. The shower is very short and the towels are much too small for a large man. I appreciate the price but this hotel is rated much too high online and the high rating is false and wrong.

Only issue I had with this hotel was the traffic noise. I fan would have helped. But overall the place was very clean, staff was very helpful. Bed was very comfortable.

Not worth it- needs new sheets & towels at least
The front desk service was kind and helpful. I will say though that I’ve stayed at less expensive motels while on a budget that were much nicer than this. Everything is very old and used including the towels. The sheets were clean but so old they were shredding and had stains that made me cringe. The AC was too loud to run and sleep at the same time. Some serious TLC needs to be put into the place to bring it up to even just acceptable pleasant standards. It may have been charming in the 1950’s but honestly is just plain run down now.

Can't beat the price. Room was clean and it was a place to sleep. Highway noise is not a problem when the AC unit cuts on. Bed was firm but not uncomfortable, just don't expect a pillowtop. Staff was friendly. I would stay again if I needed to. It's not fancy but it looks as doable. The Claredon Grill across the street had probably one of the best cheeseburgers I have ever had! That was a pleasant surprise for a gas station/convenience store diner. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Old motel that has been attended to by owners. Would suggest that someone defrost the freezer part of the refrigerator. Light by bed didn't work. Good bathroom, but shower could use an anti-slip mat. We appreciate the service and help with where and where not to walk our dog.

When I got there, the manager said there would be a credit card fee of 2.5%. They offer a cash discount. I found it odd. The building was from Route 66 hay day. They have updated the paint, but the building (and furnishings) are old. There were several crickets in the room. The sheets and towels were rough to the touch. The tub was dingy. And the TV hung crooked. The manager was a good man trying to make the dream a reality, but this place could be more dreamy. But for $55/night, no one should expect the Ritz Carlton. But the reviews were a little more glowing than the actual facility.

Booked this hotel room hoping it was great room the place it was located was nice the room looked nice but there were flaws like, it looked like someone had exploeded a soda in the batheroom walls and in the shower and aon the ac unit there was at ome point a small bug in the bed also a small spider and then a bug ontop of the small fridge also the window was broken and had tape on it

It was clean and had a nice bed and linens. Towels not so great. I liked the hard floor instead of carpet. Limited choices for breakfast, but that's not the hotel's fault, but just a very small town.

It’s ok for just an overnight stay. But it’s very dated, has the “old” motel smell. No coffee maker in the room. Would not want to shower - old & grungy bathroom.

Western Skies is iconic Americana. I hope that they will be able to finish painting the sign above the office. The lady at the desk was lovely and walked me to the place where I could deposit the bag from walking my dog. The mattress was comfortable. The towels and sheets were not. I would say that the amenities were stark.

This place is a dive, if BW next door doesn’t have rooms your only other choice is here, and they clearly know that. Room had sand on the floors, tiles falling off the bathroom wall at the floor level behind toilet with who knows what able to crawl in, room absolutely reeked of urine. Shower was so filthy we didn’t dare to enter it. No breakfast, no nothing, will never even think about this place again.

This was like sleeping on the median strip of the highway. You could hear every car passing on the 4-lane highway. We were 3 rooms away. That noise was only exceeded by the window/wall A/C unit that came on every 5 minutes. The owners need to understand to fill up the room furthest from the highway where it might be quieter and where their living quarters are. I felt sorry for the guy they put right next to the highway. Maybe they need to insulate the rooms better to keep the sound out. There was a dead spider in the tub and dust bunnies fell out of the vent over the sink when I turned the light on. I had to bend over to wash my hair in the shower because the shower head was so low and I'm only 5'2". I would never ever stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
