'We enjoyed the home - it had several nice aspects. Very clean, good kitchen, the king bed was super-comfortable, and the many options in lighting and ceiling fans was appreciated. The screened porch overlooking the forest with the sound of the river in the background was wonderful – well furnished with rockers, tables and chairs to enjoy outdoor meals, without bugs! The creek access is down a steep grade through the trees, with flights of wooden steps, but neither up nor down was more than any...

'I booked this hoochee haus for a nice quiet getaway and to celebrate my birthday. It did not disappoint. The place ws so clean. It had all the things i needed. And the view on the river was so beautiful i could not have had a better place. It was close enough to walk to the little town. Or park in town and wander around all day and then drive back. The weather was great. The people were friendly. I met a new friend on my last day there. I will return to this hoochee haus.'

'We have stayed in several cabins over the years and this cabin is in the best setting by far. The view from the rear deck is absolutely beautiful. The stairway down to the creek is very manageable even for us old folks. The cabin is very secluded and cannot be seen from the road. I couldn't give it 5 stars, however, because the gas grill is worn out and will not heat sufficiently to cook food, and the bed in the master bedroom is uncomfrotable and needs replacement.
