'We stayed here to visit the Mall and it was exactly as described. The walk to the Metro is a little longer then we'd hoped (took about an hour to get down on the Mall from our house), but the neighborhood is lovely and the grocery store on the way to and from the Metro was super handy. We'd stay again!'

'My family and I loved this property. The hosts were friendly, informative, and accurate about this home. The location was within walking distance of the Smithsonian and many other sites that we were interested in visiting. Our group had 2 couples and 2 children. Having 3 1/2 baths available and the bunk room for the kids was perfect. All accommodations were beautiful, and the kitchen was great. The unit was also very clean. 'The house was exactly as it shows in the pictures online - very clean, spacious, contemporary and comfortable. We had tours, exhibits, restaurants, concerts and shows lined up for most of the weekend, so didn’t spend a lot of time in the house, but it was great to come back to in the evening and relax, as well as start the day off with breakfast here. We had a question about the heating, and were easily able to get hold of Shia, who was most accommodating and immediately addressed our concern.'

'Had a good stay at Kelly’s place for a couple of days during our trip to Washington DC. It is very conveniently located and a good place for a family of 4. 'This property was perfect for our group. Whole Foods was a short walk away and the Capitol South Metro stop was a very short walk. We mastered the Metro and we're able to see all of our 'must-do's' during our stay. The neighborhood was super quiet and we felt very safe.'

'Loved our stay at this property. The home was very clean and well maintained. The hostess was great to communicate with and went out of the way to help resolve minor issues that came up (ice maker not keeping up with 6 soda addicts). Good proximity to public transport - if the 0.7 mi walk to the Metro station is a little too far, we found it's pretty easy to catch a bus.'

'Clean home with comfortable beds. Easy to get to all the sites in DC. About a 12-14 minute walk to subway, but we usually choose a 2 minute walk to the bus- very easy to use. Host responded quickly to all our questions. Some street noise, but normal for a stay in a city.'

'Location was good, 3 min walk to bus stop, short bus ride to Potomac Metro station. Off street parking is a huge plus, but was tight for 2 mid-size SUV. Plenty of hot water for 8 people to take back to back showers. Host was excellent!! Only complaints is we had 8 people and 7 forks and found the 8th fork in the bottom of the dish washer on the 2nd to last day. Several dishes were dirty when we got there, we ran them through the dish washer. We traveled 2 families of 4. We eat breakfast and...

Hotel in a nice location with some issues
"A nice hotel in a good neighborhood with small rooms. The location of the hotel is good and the breakfast and coffee is good. The lounge downstairs is nice. There is an iron lounge in the top floor for business purposes. The overall cleanness was a little bit disappointment. I found hairs on multiple locations in my room. Also the alarm went off at the middle of the night, which was the co2/smoke alarm. The staff “investigated” the alarm after 3 reminders the next day with the result nothing is wrong, because that was what the manager said. I am sorry but if an alarm as such goes of it has to do something with safety and not an opinion. No investigation was done and no apologies were made. "
