Loved the cocktail hours where they supply two drinks per night per guest. Rooms were spacious, ours had a leaking toilet but they sent engineer to repair it. Did not like having to pay daily parking fee. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

Room was very clean. Hotel was experiencing lots of construction. Construction workers were getting Door Dash food delivery items in the hotel parking lot in the evening. The hotel revolving door was being repaired. Work completed before trip ended.

When trying to check in just after 4:00pm, our room was not ready. The staff was not very friendly about us having to wait for check in and nor did they have any idea of when we could check in. Hotel has some age on it, but fairly clean.

Friendly Front desk. Stayed during Masters Week. Overall happy with the hotel. Guests below us were playing music well past 2am making it hard to sleep. Conditions of hotel are okay, you can tell it needs a refresh, but not dirty. Just worn in.

The room that I reserved was “not available” when I checked in. We were then put in another room with only one bed and we were told there is a pull out couch- that IS NOT what I reserved!!! We were given a room and when we arrived it was already occupied! We had to go back down to the front desk and we were given a goody bag full of snacks- unacceptable! We will not be staying at this hotel again. Not to mention it is very outdated, dark and dreary!

My wife and I love Embassy Suites as we just stayed in one in Estero, FL which was a 5 star experience. The Embassy in Columbia is more like a red roof inn and Hilton corporate should step in and get it to the Hilton standard. I didn't want to believe the rating prior to booking, but we took a chance as the Embassy breakfast option and luxury feel trumped the rating. Man was I wrong. We arrived late to people out front smoking weed, check in was a hassle at the front desk as the employees seem to hate their job and had something better to do. The hotel halls, elevators were dirty and had a musty smell. We get to our room and the smell was even stronger. A very poor job at maintaining cleanliness. The beds at embassys are usually comfortable and high end. The beds in our room were that from a goodwill and not to the Hilton standard. If this hotel is privately owned which I'm guessing it is, they are doing a poor job of reinvestment into the property. The shower head looked to be a cheap one from a hardware store and the tub was stained and tile was gross as far as cleanliness. The breakfast at this Embassy was not comparable to past Embassys we've stayed at. A good Embassy we've experienced has fresh fruit, and a wow breakfast feel. This one in Columbia was meh with an omlet option. Out of all the employees we met, only 1 seemed to like their job. This place has poor management, poor leadership and should the Embassy title removed and you pay 10 per night for parking. Avo

I originally had booked two nights at this hotel. The first night, the hotel gave our room away because it was overbooked and we were the last to arrive that evening. No notice, no help was offered and it was blamed on Expedia. We ended up at the Motel 6. Expedia helped us rebook and as 'luck' would have it, it was back at this Embassy Suites due to many events in the area, this was all that was available. We made sure to arrive closer to check in and our room was available. Our room was clean, the breakfast was nice. So difficult to rate given the situation. First night: zero stars (if possible) Second night: four stars I would recommend calling ahead to make sure they know you are coming.

My room was given away by the time I arrived at the hotel and was informed by the front desk that Expedia was to blame for the hotel being overbooked. Front desk said that Expedia booked me at another hotel, but there was no information as to where that new hotel was. I also did not receive any information from Expedia about this loss of a room. After following up with Expedia, Expedia said the hotel contacted them to say they were overbooked. Who knows. Regardless, I was without a room at 11:45pm and ended up at a Motel 6 by 1:30am. If staying at Embassy Suites, I would HIGHLY recommend calling to confirm room reservation.

The location was great for where I needed to go however, upon arriving at the property I noticed a distinct smell in the lobby. Check in was smooth and the staff was pleasant. When I got to the room 432 the room appeared clean at a glance. Examining the room thoroughly I found spider webs on the walls and in the corners, the bathroom sink was detached from the counter top and the black gunk was visible between the sink and counter top. The wall paper was separating from the wall, the room door still moved around even after closing it and putting the security lock on. Not like any other Embassy Suites I've visited but for one night I slept and got on up out of there. The bed was clean and comfortable though and other than being able to see between the sink and counter top the bathroom was ok. Furniture is a bit dated.

For the amount of money I spent I was surprised how dirty this place was. The room was dirty and old. The pull out couch was so gross. The AC was not working and I asked for towels as there was 4 of us in a room and we only had 3. They never gave me more towels I had to go and look for housekeeping to get one. Even though they came to clean my room and I asked for a towel and still didn’t get one!

The property is in desperate need of ••DEEP•• cleaning and overhaul. Some torn and peeling wallpaper, cabinets w missing hardware, built up layers of ‘ick’ (especially in the corners and in the bathroom. The tub had no plug mechanism and was two-toned (white sides, yellow bottom). Leaky sink faucet. Stained sofa and chair, tears in the lampshades. Just a LOT of smaller icky things adding up to be a major yuck.

Disappointing - avoid this place.
Avoid this place. The soap dispensers are coming out of the wall. Wi-Fi signal is horrible. They give you a hang tag for parking but don’t tell you there is a nightly fee to park. The windows leak air. Weak water pressure in the shower. The ladies/hosteses at breakfast were genuine and kind. They were the only thing good about this place.

I’ve stayed at Embassy suites before and they were always clean and nice. Unfortunately that’s not the experience I had and would not book again. The rooms were dirty and stunk terribly. My room smelled like a combo of body oder and puke mixed w cigarette smoke. This was embarrassing because I booked for others as well. After traveling from 3am across the country I wasn’t in a position to cancel. I will say the staff was very kind.

The shower curtain only covered half of the opening area of the tub. When I asked that I get a new shower curtain, I was told that they're all that way, while the rooms are clean they are definitely dated.
