'If I could give Hotel Miramar 20 stars, I would. The location was perfect, across the Copacabana beach. A road separates most hotels and buildings, so it is as close as possible to the beach. A lifeguard station is right across the hotel with showers and faucets for feet washing. The hotel has a gentleman on the beach who sets your umbrella and a beach chair and keeps an eye on your belongings. On our way from the beach, the gentleman helped us with feet washing, and it was a strange feeling...

'Pleasant hotel, on a good location for a fare price. Contacts with staff very mixed. From extremely rude and unprofessional at the roof top bar to most of the time very cooperative at the reception. '

'Vlakbij Copacabana strand. Uitstekende service. Fantastisch ontbijt. Helaas geen echte lounge. Kamer wat smal, geen zitje, maar prima uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Rio de Janeiro.'

'Good rooms, nothing special, but enough room, big bed and clean. Walls were thin, so could hear everything your neighbour does, as well as outside was noisy. Water pressure in shower was very good, not something you see often. Nice pool on roof, would go again. Several eating options in the near vicinity.'
