Minder hotel, fantastisch personeel.
Helaas werd er aan de weg gewerkt waardoor je vroeg werd gestoord.Oploskoffie??? De kamer werd helaas niet elke dag schoon gemaakt. Er was maar een badjas in een tweepersoonskamer. Het zou een executive kamer moeten zijn, dit was er niet aan af te zien. De douche zat boven het bad, er was met pijn en moeite warm water uit te krijgen. Daar in tegen; het personeel was fantastisch waardoor het verblijf alsnog aangenaam was.

Tweede keer in dit hotel. Goede service. Ligging is perfect zeer goede restaurants op loop afstand. Maar ook het eten in hotel restaurant/pub is goed. Enige nadeel kan het parkeren bij hotel zijn , is nl erg krap.

There are so many great things about this hotel. It’s a great location and our executive suite was spacious and affordable but the front desk staff are not very responsive and seem to lack customer service abilities. Room cleaning is by request only and they didn’t take out the trash. Also it was an extra 5 euro charge to have cutlery sent to our room.

Great place with wonderful staff however has limited parking and once full, if you drive in you are stuck. Very difficult to manoeuvre a way back out if the parking area, and could take you a significant amount of time

Our family of 3 stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it very much. The hotel was comfortable and made us feel like we were experiencing a little bit of authentic Ireland. The onsite pub had some VERY good fish and chips. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only disappointment came from some cultural confusion. The amenities list indicates "laundry facilities" and apparently that means "laundry service" at this hotel. They were helpful in pointing us to a nearby laundromat, but being out at night in the rain doing laundry was a bummer when were were expecting to be able to do it at the hotel. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Service was impeccable but the hotel and facilities are tired. No hot water in the bedroom not leisure centre showers. Limited bar selection as some choices were out of stock. Food was expensive for what it was. Great location but needs a little investment.

Very disappointing experience we booked in on new years eve, had problems firstly trying to get parking it took an hour to park appauling that we weren't informed about the overflow parking until we were rudely asked to move by a staff member while parked outside the door of hotel as we were discussing options after driving around hotel car park and street parking for hour, secondly the following morning we paid 32 euro for '' breakfast'' for two if you could even call it that, the eggs were disgrace they were inedible, the bacon was like beef jerky if was so dehydrated nearly chipped an tooth on it the beans were dried into the container they were in,, all the food was removed within 10 minutes of sitting down, when we complained about the poor quality of the breakfast manager didn't seem phased and brushed if off, 32 euro flushed down drain went to local petrol station to get deli breakfast on way home 100% better food, stevie wonder must have been preparing food that morning in maldron. Service for dinner the previous night also extremely slow we got the menus and still nobody returned to take our order 20 mins later we had to go the the bar to get the waitress so we could order our food Would not return again usuallly book 2or 3 times a year big disappointment

Parking was limited, only 1 bar/dining room and after food arrived never saw server again had to ask bartender for our bill. Room had no AC and window only opened an inch so it was 40F outside and 80F in our room. Also had doors slamming and people running up and down the hallway laughing and talking until 5am. When I talked to front desk at check out they could care less and didnt offer any discounts for inconvenience. Manager overheard conversation and didn't approach me to discuss either and then at breakfast we overheard him telling another worker that the 4th floor had a busy night and they laughed about it.

Staff were exceptional and so helpful. We left an item in our room when we checked out and the accommodation manager went to great lengths to locate it & ensure it was returned to us. It’s a beautiful hotel and so convenient to Cork city. We will definitely stay again. The parking situation is unfortunate but the hotel’s solution is very good.

The bedroom and main parts of the hotel were very good, the spa area was a bit dated and untidy. The gym was reasonable and had a good range of machines, albeit a little tired looking. Overall a good stay, however parking was tight and very limited.

Location excellent. Building charming. Staff amazing. But rooms lack adequate closet and dresser space. The Refresh Room sign on door sometimes escaped housekeeping attention.
