Het Ambassador Hotel is een prettig hotel. Jazeker, het is enigszins gedateerd maar de kamers zijn ruim en schoon. Alles functioneert zoals het hoort en de schoonmaak/opmaakservice is prima en vriendelijk. Het ontbijt, dat wij inclusief hadden geboekt, was uitgebreid met een ruime keus aan brood, broodjes, vleeswaren, kaas, zoetigheid, yoghurt met tal van vullingen etc etc. Ook kwam men aan tafel vragen of je wat warms erbij wilde. Full Irish of wat je ook wilde. Top en lekker! Het personeel, van balie, tot restaurant, bar en schoonmaak: iedereen is vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Kortom een tophotel voor de prijs die je betaalt. Enig nadeel (hoewel) is de ligging boven op de heuvel. het uitzicht is prachtig maar de wandeling vanuit het centrum terug is een kuitenbijter. Maar er rijden taxi's genoeg, dus ….. Echt een aanrader, dit hotel!

Het was een kort tripje naar Ierland om wat spullen op te halen en mijn honden die ik had achtergelaten door verhuizing naar belgie. Dit was een top locatie en 7 min van de stad af en ik heb echt genoten van mijn nachtrust en heeft me geholpen op deze emotionele ervaring van mijn trip naar Ierland

Ben er een paar dagen geweest en het was top,personeel is zeer klant gericht en ze doen er alles aan om je het naar het zin te brengen en je voelt je er gelijk thuis....

Mooi en sfeervol hotel & super restaurant!
Een mooi en bijzonder sfeervol hotel met een klassieke uitstraling. Mooi ingerichte, ruime kamer met een heerlijke en luxe badkamer. Koffie/theefaciliteiten op de kamer. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Een heel goed en mooi gerenoveerd restaurant met open keuken en grote bar. Mooie ligging en uitzicht, de wandeling terug vanuit de stad was pittig en steil maar vervangt dan ook de sportschool tijdens het verblijf! We hebben genoten en zouden dit hotel absoluut weer boeken!

Prima hotel ook voor langere tijd
Het hotel was netjes en het personeel beleefd. Onze kamer was voorzien van alle gemakken en erg schoon. Ook het eten wat geserveerd werd in het hotel was goed. 's Avonds gingen we wel eens naar de bar en een wat oudere Ier was erg vriendelijk en bediende ons goed.

This is a lovely property, but when you look very closely, you see that it is a bit dated and could use a little renovating. The parking is convenient, and it's close to the center of town. However the walk is up a very steep hill, so I wouldn't say it's walkable. The front desk staff was available and helpful, though a bit non-committal when asked to recommend restaurants and bars outside of the hotel.

We stayed here for one night in 10/23. The rooms and bathrooms were huge and clean. It felt like luxurious accommodations in comparison to other places we stayed. The building is situated near the top of a hill with fantastic views of the city. Service was extremely friendly and helpful. The location requires a bit of a walk to get to downtown. Would happily stay here again.

The staff was kinda. The restaurant was to die for! The lobby was beautiful but I feel like the rooms didn’t match up to the rest of the hotel. The room feel a little out dated and there isn’t a lot of walls plugs. The blow dryer blew a fuse in our room and we had to be moved to another room. That room was better, which was appreciated. Our key to our room didn’t work multiple days in a row which was slightly irrational but not that big of a deal. We had no remote and asked for one many nights, never received. The stay was nice but definitely not what I thought it was gonna be.

My Parents stayed 4 nights at The Address, Military Hill, Cork. They enjoyed their stay due to the quality of the room and the friendly, very helpful staff. It is located near bus routes to get to the city centre which can also be reached in about a 15 minute walk or less. The room was very clean and warm with a kettle also to make tea or coffee. Thank you.

The Hotel was self sufficient having a restaurant inside with a bar. This made things easy for us considering we had a busy day whilst travelling to get there. Rooms were luxurious and beautifully appointed. Should have organised another day there. The website didn’t do the place justice as the rooms were far better than the pictures shown. Make sure to stay here.
