'We stayed here last July for my 40th as we wanted to be close to Madeline Island, but not camp. The main drawback was the list of restrictions. The red tape is I’m sure to avoid party goers, but it was a little bit of a turn off. Fortunately I asked the owners if it was ok to have my parents over for a fire abiding by the time limits posted and they ok’d it. 'This is an adorable cottage with amazing views of the Siskiwit Bay. Erin was so accommodating & easy to communicate with. We hiked the Meyers Beach trail to the sea caves which exceeded our expectations. Views were spectacular without leaves on the trees. Beach combing was also amazing with how warm the temps were (unfortunately, that is probably due to climate change) but truly a wonderful Fall week on the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. We were very comfortable and the views out of all the windows were amazing. We rented both cabins and though the Rock Cabin Cottage had more sleeping space for our family, the Main Cottage was more luxurious with the deck, furniture, propane fire pit, and patio lights. 'From the time of booking Katie had reached out to let us know exactly where we would be going when we arrived and made our entire stay so enjoyable! She recommended we try to catch the mind blowing Northern Lights and had her sister deliver the most delicious “welcome ice cream”!
