'Came to the area to see the solar eclipse, and decided to stay at this property on Cedar Creek Lake. The house was a perfect fit for the four of us adults and two small dogs. The big back porch has an amazing lake view, and the location—only an hour from Dallas—enabled us to enjoy lake life and go into town when we wanted to. The house was clean and comfortable, and the host made sure our experience was memorable. A great stay!'

'This is always our work crew's first choice when they know they will be working at the lake. As soon as we know we are working at the lake they ask me to see if this property is available. 'We had a great time on our state tournament weekend. The house was beautiful! 4 couples shared it and there was plenty of space for everyone. The layout is fantastic. Even when cooking breakfast and dinner several of us were in the kitchen at once and we were not in each other's way. The view is gorgeous and we had fun fishing at the dock. Definitely would recommend this house for a getaway with a bigger family or a few friends.'

'The homes were just as described. Plenty of room for each family. Stocked with so many games. We used the fire pits, kayaks, and volleyball court daily. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. Beds were comfy. Plenty of towels for everyone. So many amenities! We brought our dog. She is very laid back. There is a large friendly dog across the street that wonders over occasionally for belly rubs. She greeted us upon arrival. If you have a dog that doesn’t like other dogs, keep an eye out....

'This is a modular home right on the water. The home was very spacious. We loved having the fenced in yard and dock. The beds were very comfortable and there was soap and toilet paper. The kitchen was really big and there was a small extra fridge. Being on the lake there is a lot of bugs. Bring bug spray and candles. Also, the steps are very slippery when it is raining. My husband slipped down them letting the dog out one morning. The neighborhood is full of stray dogs and run down but once you...

'Our stay was wonderful. The house had everything we needed to view the eclipse, including a nice deck to take in the full view. For the kids they enjoyed fishing in the canal and enjoying the hot tub. The house was spacious and well equipped for our group. I would definitely stay again!'

'The property was very cute and comfortable. However, the Vrbo listing indicated 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. We only located 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, which was an occasional issue for 4 women over 50. Directions to the property were excellent, and we greatly enjoyed our stay. The cake was delicious!'

'Everything about this property is so amazing, we all had a Great time, although the weather wasn’t in our favor, to really get to enjoy the great outdoor area , which has everything you could ask for and more. 'The place was spotless and the side yard is great for fur babies. The neighborhood is a bit rough, but once you are at the rental is is amazing. The lake is so peaceful. The porch was where I relaxed with morning coffee and evening sunsets. Stayed the week of the eclipse and was able to observe totality from the backyard. The fire pit is really nice and we made some great s'mores ♥️'

'We had a great time! Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we spent a lot of time in the very large game room. Plenty of games to entertain the kids. Chad was really easy to communicate with and we had no issues. The kitchen was very well stocked with quality dishes/utensils as suggested in the listing description which was nice. The beds were super comfortable also! We will be returning again for another stay for sure!'

'We have stayed at numerous houses on Cedar Creek but this was by far our favorite of them all. The location is perfect. Convenient to any store you need. The lot is HUGE and perfect for kids to run and play. You feel so secluded on this property in the best way! The kids loved the tree swing. The house was clean and beautiful.
