'The location is safe, quiet and also near to historic downtown (just about 3 blocks away). The place is clean and cute - just perfect for two people. Joanna is very responsive and very informative.'

'We chose the listing because we were hoping to be in the town of Crestone and spa/whirlpool. Advertised location was’t the correct location on the map and no whirlpool. We didn't realize we were going to be in a development 25 minutes from our group. Clarification of rental wasn’t revealed until rental was completed. That being said, the rental was clean, quiet, and had extra details(coffee, tea, candy, shampoo/conditioner, notebook with details).'

'The apartment was immaculate and so convenient to everything. The fact of it being on the 3rd floor was a bit hard for us old folks (lol) but it gave us extra exercise coming and going. I would definitely stay there again. It had everything you needed.'

'Next door to a Veterans Motorcycle Club so very loud. It was nice everything brand new, but the dryer didn’t work and the bed was really hard. Stairs are also really steep and there are 25 of them!'

'Great upper apartment with plenty of space and nice views. Pictures do not do it justice. Very comfortable furnishings. Great location for easy access to the downtown shops and attractions with a park and museum near by. We would definitely use again when in the area.'

'We had a great time at this VRBO- it was super close to Salida and about an hour outside of Cañon City which meant we had plenty to do! The decor was beautiful and very well maintained. I’d say the only drawback was that we had some difficulty sleeping with the unfamiliar sounds of the road nearby and the heater kicking on/off. The flood lights near the entrance were required to stay on at all times and the coverings on the door were sheer so light was still let into the space. Other than that...

The location was perfect for quickly getting around town, walking from the condo directly to Tenderfoot ("S") Mountain, and made it a perfect base camp for our week in Salida. Thanks again to the property owner and manager! I would not be surprised if we book this property again in the future.'

'It was clean. I like the location. It is surrounded with places to eat. A coffee shop a few doors down. It was quiet. There is free public parking at the rear of the building toward highway 50 with ev charging stations. Very minor criticism the code for the trash bin at rear of building did not work. If you have a long stay or large family I would check that first because at the end of your stay, you have empty your trash.'

'Not secluded but appreciated the property location on the river. The gas station across the road was very convenient for last minute things that we forgot. The house was a great set up - everyone had their own room and space. The patio was perfect with two grills and a gorgeous setting. The barn was awesome - the kids played pool, cards, corn hole etc.'
