'This home and place is so special. We loved that every one in our family had a space for themselves to sleep and so many spaces to just sit and be quiet, to fish, to read and relax. Night time camp fires overlooking the water and watching the night sky. The kitchen was fully stocked so that we were able to grill and cook our favorites all day. A great place to get away from it all. Beds were nice and cozy too and host was so quick to answer any questions we had while there. Highly recommend for...

'It was a lovely retreat on the lake for our family. Located between Huntsville and Birmingham gave us nice day-trip opportunities. There isn’t a dishwasher but paper plates were provided for the nights we didn’t want to do dishes.'

'When my Wife and I were looking for a mini vacation, my first words were quiet with maybe a little fishing. If you like the sound of birds and the wind rushing through the trees, you have found your happy place. A most excellent choice for couples with perhaps a small family. We must have missed the whiporwhill season. I was hoping to hear them again. The fishing on Smith is always a gamble so prepare to catch a ton or none. The surroundings are top notch! Silence.....ahhhh!'

'This property was everything we could wish for in a lakeside cabin. Secluded, quiet & beautiful land complete with a gas grill, fire pit, porch seating for cool evening dinners, spacious dock for lazy days fishing or swimming and a canoe with paddle’s & various sized life jackets for exploring lake Smith. The cabin was super clean with all of the necessities. The beds & linens are comfy with extra blankets just in case. We loved our stay & recommend to everyone.'

'An absolutely wonderful stay! My friends (10 adults) go on a Smith Lake trip every year and we FINALLY found the house we’re gonna go back to year after year!! Had everything we needed, great comfy beds, plenty of communal space. We loved that there were many options for spaces to hang out around the house. The hosts and property managers were incredibly responsive and helpful. The dock was awesome and well stocked with toys. We also appreciated that the lot was flat and didn’t have to go down...

'The house is exactly as described! Beautiful part of the lake and we had peaceful mornings with coffee on the back porch. The boat ramp is so close and easy to use for your boat. Only negative is the mattresses need to be replaced. We had 6 adults & everything in the house functions well. We brought a Blackstone table top griddle where we made most of our meals outside. 'We had a girls weekend at this wonderful lake house. The view was breathtaking! We spent so much time on the deck reading and talking. There was ample seating in the living room which was great for playing games and hanging out. There are two additional living areas for people to hang out and enjoy.
