'Very historic hotel with a gorgeous room with sitting area, 4 poster king bed, soaking tub, and right on High street for convenience to everything. We also loved the plush robes they provided. Bill’s restaurant downstairs has wonderful food. The club downstairs does have cabaret live shows so we were “serenaded” each night. They don’t play too late and it didn’t interrupt our sleep. I’d highly recommend staying here for a luxurious stay in Guildford. 5 stars. '

'This venue had a nice new tarmac drive and parking spaces. The interior however was a little dated. I was in room 4 on 2nd floor (no lift), and the noise coming from the other rooms and corridor was noticable. Ensuite was small, bed was okay, wifi was okay. There were a few places in the town centre to eat (evening meal) and a couple of cafes for breakfast. This was no more than a 10 minute walk. Had to pay £10 to park vehicle at venue.'

'Wij verbleven in een familiekamer na een transatlantische vlucht. Gekozen voor deze accomodatie omdat vroeg inchecken (11:00) mogelijk was. Prijs was verder ook ok. Afstand tot LGW ook. Hotel/guesthouse is gevestigd in een oud pand van voor 1900. Erg goed onderhouden allemaal. Ziet er netjes uit. Als je grotere hotels gewend bent, dan is het een (klein) nadeel dat je een dag van te voren het tijdstip van het ontbijt moet inplannen. Ontbijt was trouwens prima. Transfer van en naar de luchthaven...

'Limited distance to the beach and pier was the reason of selection. With this in mind it is great value for money. People were friendly, but reception is not always present as this is a B&B. Lack of breakfast room was compensated with roomservice for a small extra. Well worth the money. Room was very small but clean and toilet in the hall was in line with the price.'

'Very good, the only thing was the size of my room. I had a single room and it was OK for one night, because I had only a small bag with me. But if you have a suitcase or a big bag, there is no space in the single room. But the rest was very good.'

'Great service and pleasant staff, good food. Surrey Hills nice scenery, good if you need to stay over close to Guidlford. Good wifi, only drawback is the mobile network. had to go outside for telephone calls, fortunetaly the weather was supporting this with plus 25 degrees celsius'

'Excellent value for money , room was large, large comfy bed with TV and sofa. Mini kitchen with kettle,sink,hob,microwave and fridge. En suite bath with shower. Towels provided.I only booked for the one night but would have happily stayed a week. Yes there was the odd hair and a bit of dust in places but on the whole it was clean. Its a bit dated but wouldn't expect anything less being an old building. I'd definitely be booking again.'

'Zo gastvrij, zo vriendelijk, zo'n heerlijk ontbijt en vlakbij de pier. Het is een uitstekende keuze als je een paar dagen in Brighton wil verblijven. Onze kamer was klein maar het ontbrak ons aan niets!'

'Nice hotel. We stayed in the spacious family room in the ‘souterrain’. Only the bed matrasses were a bit firm. And the room was right under the breakfast room. Somewhat noisy. Overall lovely stay only a couple of meters from the boulevard and 5min to the Pier'

'Size of accommodation good, layout could be altered to make more room, particularly as doors all opening on to each other in hallway. Nice to have king size bed for comfort but compromised rest of space in the bedroom, especially in top floor room, with sloping roof. '

'Great place in an excellent location. Modern and clean with very friendly staff. Shame about the road works with their early morning starts and the 6.30 Sunday morning bin lorry - not the hotels fault. '
