The home is extremely clean, beautifully remodeled and updated, quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees, and just a short distance from downtown West Jefferson. The location was also convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had. We highly recommend the property and would stay here again.'

'We enjoyed our bicycle riding on the Virginia Creeper. Fortunately we rode in the mornings because the late afternoon was stormy with lots of rain. Unit 2 was spacious enough for us to spread out and relax.'

I grew up close by & my parents live around the corner so it made it easy to visit with them. There is easy access to all my favorite places downtown and the lake, aka Hungry mother Park. 'Julius was an amazing host from the moment we booked his glorious mountain home . The pictures on line do not do it justice ….. gorgeous home and could not be cleanser . The home location was an easy trip to West Jefferson for fun festivities . I especially loved sitting on the front porch …. Listening to the New River . The fire pit was also a favorite spot for our group . I highly recommend this home if you are looking for a beautiful peaceful, relaxing home nestled in a great neighborhood .'

You can tell they take great care to offer the best stay possible. We did had phone service and great Wi-Fi at the cabin, too.'

'My husband and I stayed to attend the Appalachian Trail Days. The cottage was absolutely amazing. It was so clean, so well equipped! The cottage was in the country, really quiet. It has an amazing screened in back deck that over looked fields of hay and a cow pasture. I was so glad that we got to meet Judy and Joe. Wonderful couple! We loved staying there and hope to be able to go back again.'

'Had everything we needed- well stocked kitchen for cooking, lots of towels in clean bathrooms, small bedrooms but with very comfortable beds with extra blankets, good location, walkable to some local shops and diner.'

Two recommendations: 1)guest bedroom mattress needs upgrade 2) remove poison ivy around tree at grill site/outside light plug.'
